Last friday on the 21st of april me and kristina got married. The whole day was so surreal and i will never forget it. We had nearly 40 irish relations from ireland and london come to the wedding. It was medium sized 150 guests at the reception. It was the happiest day of our lives and we will never forget the day.

Now after a week of partying we are back to reality. Im intending to send out the greencard,EAD and AP forms this week and finally start the final leg of this part of the process.

I was reading somewhere if you call your local immigration center, you can plead for a temp EAD form if you are despearate to work. Is that true?

Im in the computer support industry so i feel like i vegging out living at my wifes parents home. I need to work again, help people with computer problems and so forth. We are both going mad living at home as thye have 3 cats and 2 mad small dogs that drive us nuts from all the barking starting at 5 am every morning. We wont be able to afford to buy a condo/apartment/house for another few months until i get a job at least.

Finally i must thank this website for all the information that i have got so far and the ppl i have met and emailed.

Thank you, we spent the last week in boston as most of my family stayed there. Did it take long for the EAD to come? Is the boston office slow at processing forms as im going through boston as well.

I've never heard of anyone pleading to USCIS for a temp EAD, as they won't generally listen to you until it has been 90 days since filing for I-765 form. Why don't you use the time to study and obtain certain certifications that go hand in hand with the computer industry? It'll make you resume look more impressive for potential employers and increase your job prospects and future salary.

The EAD is processed through the Missouri service center, not the Boston office.

Boston will receive your green card application (AOS) after the MSC is through with initial processing and then assign an interview. Last time I checked, Boston was processing cases with NOA dates in October, 2005.

April A friend told me that she thought my ideal man lived in Wyoming or Montana.

May 17 Did search on match.com. Found no-one in Wyoming. Only wrote to one person in Montana...his name was John. He replied two hours later.

Jun 26 Flew to Missoula to meet him & a weekend trip turned into a five week visit...

Many trips between US, Canada & Europe.

2005

March 31 During a meeting in Vancouver, John proposed & I said YES!!!

Jun 2 Finally sent off our I-129F & a few days later we received NOA1. I am now officially an alien bride-to-be.

Aug 22 Email notification of NOA2.

Sep 12 Received letter to say application would be forwarded to US Embassy.

Nov 23 Returned packet 3 to Embassy

Jan 5 Got interview date

Feb 1 Interview. APPROVED!

Feb 2 Visa delivered.

Feb 8 Finally back home in Missoula, MT. I'm happy, John's happy & the cats are ecstatic - together again!
