But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

DL and GC

I also make sure to take my son's GC with us whenever we go on long trips (although he is not legally required to carry his GC around).

Some counties here in NC already have their sheriff's offices deputized to check for immigration papers during a traffic stop. I don't want to be in a position where I get stopped and asked for immigration documentation and I don't have any on me. We're going for my son's DL tomorrow. I'm seriously considering having him carry his GC around when he starts driving on his own.

I realize I'll get slammed for this by the GC police around here, but I just carry a color photocopy of my GC on me every day. there's NO WAY I'm going to risk carrying it around in my day to day life - I'll take the fine/jail term/whatevah "risk" no worries..

If I leave the state or I travel at all of course I carry it, but as far as carting it off to work every day.. nah uh..
