Sept. 09, 2007- VSC forwarded my paper works to California Service Center (CSC)

Sept. 20, 2007- Received my paper works from CSC saying that I sent my petition to the

Wrong service center.

Sept. 20, 2007- I wrote a letter to Vermont asking why they forwarded it to California yet

I sent my petition to Vermont for the first time

Sept. 21, 2007- mailed my petition back to Vermont with my letter

Sept. 24, 2007- received at VSC

Sept. 25, 2007- Notice date/ Receipt date

Sept. 28, 2007- TOUCHED

Jan. 15, 2008-NOA2 approval notice received from email

Jan. 16, 2008- TOUCHED-Once your case got touched after approval it means they forward it to NVC

Jan. 18, 2008- NVC Received-Got the MNL case #--I called NVC-Try to call after 3 days of approval

Jan. 19, 2008-NOA2 Receipt notice received from the mail

Jan. 23, 2008- Left NVC-DHL Tracking # 9347767660- I called NVC again-Try to call 3 days after NVC received your petition and ask them if they already forwarded to Manila then ask them when(the date) they forward it..mine was forwarded on Jan. 23, 2008 then I track it on DHL website by Reference.Enter the format like this on track by reference EXP 23 JAN 2008A .

Jan. 29, 2008- I called USEM for interview date(US)Jan. 30 in P.I.-Try to call the USEM 2 days after they received it.Sometimes, you have ur interview date already sometimes not..in our case, we don’t have interview date but my fiancé documents are complete and ready..I ask Grace(from USEM) if there’s any earlier slot for interview..She asked me if my fiance documents are complete..I said “Yes!” and we just waiting for medical and interview date..etc..etc..etc..That’s what happen!

Jan. 30, 2008-P.I times-My fiance is on the way to BPI to pay visa after 5 mins we found out his interview schedule-pd visa DS 157 form

Feb. 01, 2008- Visa interview available online

Feb. 5-6, 2008- Early Medical Exam

Feb. 07, 2008- Plan to purchase ticket if no problem at medical

Feb. 28, 2008- Interview date-requesting for visa pick up if granted..yahooooooooooooooo!!

March 08 or 09, 2008- Departure……

Oh yeah CFO...Forgot about that ..that will be March 6 or 7..No he is not packing yet because I made him shop clothes in PI because clothes here in the US for guy is expensive ..But as soon he is done shopping, i will make him pack ..that's how crazy I am to be with him!!!

I am not encouraging anynone to buy plane ticket before visa in hand..Every case is different!!! EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT..I am the one who got lucky on the process!!!I am not trying to bragg about..I am just trying to share my journey! Thanks!!..like i said, i was born risk taker!!

if buying winter clothes, it's cheaper in the US

it depends on the quality, for my winter clothes I bought here in US, the price range from $25 and up for the jacket, even a thin jacket that I can get in Tutuban for P250 its $20 here.....or maybe it depends on the state not sure

Your case went thru pretty quick, I filed back in July and Acel's interview is scheduled for March 3rd...she isn't planning on coming to the US until end of March/first part of April, she wants to spend Holy week with her family.

I'm from Arkansas..I think its about 5 to 7 hours driving to Nashville..I just got lucky to my process ..Family ties in the Philippines is very important..Goodluck
