I just have a few questions about the I-134.

Do I need to include my W-2's, or just the letter from my employer?

Also, what should I check for the "intend/do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of my fiance" box? When he first comes, before he finds a job, I'll be helping out with expenses and he'll be staying with me or we'll be moving into an apartment where I might be paying rent in the beginning. Basically, I'll be supporting him as is necessary, but I'm just wondering if I should check the do intend box and write down specifics?

Thanks for your help!

Hi there, you will need your W-2's and copy of your income tax returns and letter from your employer. You can find a sample form here at VJ in the EXAMPLE FORM Link on the top of the page.

Good luck.

Unless you are self-employed you don't have to submit any kind of tax papers with the I-134 for K1. You will have to do that later on when you file for AOS and submit I-864. Of course submitting your most recent tax return documents now won't hurt the process either.

Make sure though, you submit all other documents the I-134 instructions ask for. For my K1 interview I had my husband's (back then fiance's) letter of employment, a few most recent pay stubs, documents from the bank about his account and deposits. No tax papers.

The "intend/do not intend" section on the I-134 can be left blank for the K1, or just write "K1 visa application" in it, that's self-explaining (since you inted to marry and therefore of course will provide support for your spouse).
