Hello,

I will be filing I-75 in June this year. Me and my hubby are studying and have no jobs. Would this effect our petition for the lifting of conditions in any way? or USCIS just want the evidence of bonafide relationship and they ain't concerned about our financial situation? My husband used to work last year but this year he has started his studies for good. i worked for couple of moths last year as well. so definitely we will be filing taxes this year. what do u guys say?

Thanks for any help in advance.

As i told i am going to apply for lifting of the conditions for GC this year in june. me and my husband both had jobs last year but this year we both aren't working. will this have any effect on my petition if we both don't have any jobs?

My husband is US citizen and i just wanna ask if our financial situation can have any negative effect on our petition. we both are studying and i dont think we will have any jobs till june.

hope i make sense now. Thanks for bearing with me.

You are not required to furnish any financial support information to remove conditions. There isn't an I-134 / I-485 type document for this step of the process. They do suggest that joint tax returns and bank statements are a good way to show that you have combined assets etc. but if you have enough other proof to show you are living as a bona fide married couple then these aren't 100% necessary.

Out of interest, how do you support yourselves if you are both in school full time and not working ?

You won't have to prepare another Affidavit of support like you had to for the AOS.... They don't care how much money you make at this point.
