health check and medical exam

Hey guys,

I have a few questions about how to do the next steps, while the visa is processing.

1) How long is the health check good for I make at my local doctor? Would it be ok to do the check before the embasst will get the approval?

2) I have got a chronic lung disease in my medical medical records. For the last three years there was no new inflammation according to this disease again, and I dont need to take medications for it at all. Even my pneumologist says it is well again. Will I have trouble with that at the medical exam?

3) I have got a depression as well....for three years now. Im still taking medication, but Im very well with it actually. Im able to work etc. Any problems with that?

4) The worst part is that I have an uveitis intermedia, that is a chronic inflammation inside my eyes with an edema in one eye as well. Because of that I have a pretty low vision on that eye. When it is not that bad it is about 30% and when it is really bad (during an acut inflammation) it is lower than 1%. The other eye is much better with about 80% vision. I also need to take medication to keep that disease under control. Will that be a problem? Im really afraid it will be.

5) I intend going to a doctor for the medical examination the embassy is requesting, of course. And my question is if I could make it while the K3 is still processing? How long is this exam good for?

6) What else will fasten the visa process? Any advices?

7) Very important questions what of my former medical records do I have to translate?

I think the medical people will be looking for infectious/communicable diseases. They might perhaps also consider your health status in relation to your ability to work/ be employed. If you held a job in your country, I dont see why the your medical will have any hitches.

Health related grounds are:

- communicable disease

- physical and mental disorder and behavior

- drug abuser or addict

You must go for a medical check up that was liisted as panel physicians in your consulate. Medical certificate is valid for one year.
