AOS & EAD Feb. 2008 Filers

i applied on 2/15/2008, did my biometrics on 3/13/2008 and i have an interview date for 5/28/2008.

BUT i have no update on the EAD, but people who have had similiar timelines as myself have been recieving EAD approval emails and notices...so anyone care to venture any guesses as to what the delay might be in my case? i did recieve a RFE that was taken care of and case resumed on 3/27/2008.

When looking at your timeline, I don't see any delay. Visa Journey is such a small sample of the total number of applications so sometimes it can be deceiving to compare yourself too much with other members. I was approved for the EAD after 71 days, so hang in there

being transfered i have heard that you dont have an interview date is that true or what? bc if it i am so freaking happy lol. what does it really mean can someone tell me. also my hubby wants to know how long does it normally take from getting it transfered to getting a greencard?

Did you see any action on your I-130 or I-485, such as status updates or touches on the USCIS website, before you got your interview notice?

I'm especially interested to hear if they did anything with your I-130 first. Also, what status are you adjusting from?

I'm adjusting from H-1B. To this date I have had no touches on I-130 since the day after the NOA date, and no touches on I-485 since biometrics. I just got the letter in the mail (because of the lack of touches it was quite a surprise). I don't know whether that's typical. Interestingly, when I click on the receipt numbers of both I get the text that has been there since the first time I logged in, indicating that they received the application on Feb. 21 and that the case is at the National Benefits Center location.

Do you and your son have two different case numbers? I'm sure you checked anyway, but I figured I would ask!

So the case number should correspond with whose medical they want, I would think...then again, it's U.S. Immigration so it could be anything!

Yes, it also says my name.....The thing is though, it will be SUCH a waste of time if when I get my medical back and send it off, they THEN send me another RFE asking me for my SON'S!!

Wow. As I found out with the I-131 and I-765, touches are meaningless. Apparently that is true with the interview notice as well.

Wow, congrats everybody on...everything:) It's getting hard t o keep up. I woke up to another email about my EAD today - saying they'd mailed the approval. I wasn't toooo excited since I have already had two emails telling me that they'd ordered card production:)

I am still not able to see my I-130 online, and I-485 has had no touches since NOA. Oh well!

I'm excited because I'm going HOME for a visit in two weeks for Mother's day, my best friend's wedding, and to rent my apartment out. AND my sister arrives today for the weekend. I am waaaayyy to busy with fun stuff to find a job, poor Hubby:). Reality will hit when I'm back and the job hunt begins...

New member, first post, been lurking for a while.

Our lawyer sent off our AOS/EAD/I-130 paperwork on February 18th and already we have an interview date set. This seems awfully fast considering how long some wait. The case status for the I-130 isn't even showing up as a valid case online yet, I'm not sure if I should be worried about that or not. It's looking like we may have the interview before the EAD is even approved.

I'm nervous about the interview though, hopefully all goes well.
