i have a question folks, i see alot of your guys AOS stuff gets transfered to CSC, well i had applied the i130 before everything else, it was at CSC, then transfered to NBC, everything of mine currently resides at NBC, is this a good thing or bad. will it slow everything down???

When the files are transferred to CSC..theres a VERY good chance they will be approved without an interview..I appear to be on track for an interview lol..but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it..I suppose it depends on how busy your local office is. or..other factors..haha who knows..its the government!

good luck!

You're case isn't taking any longer than anyone else's here. You need to sit back and just enjoy the ride. Take a look at the chart that was made (i think there is an update on page 81) and you will see where you fit in with everyone else!

Try going through the K1 Visa process, then you will see what a long time is, haha. Your NOA date is about a week or so after ours, and we just got our EAD in the mail yesterday, so I wouldn't worry yet. Besides, the EAD has to be approved within 90 days.

Received EAD in the mail yesterday, as well as an email update from CIS saying EAD approval notice sent (big deal since we already have the card itself). Now just need to pray that our interview does not occur in the month of June (during our religious wedding), though based on dates, it looks like that is exactly what is going to happen. God, there's alway something else to worry about even after receiving good news! Argh!!!

I am in the same situation in that I entered from Canada as a tourist (at Seattle too as it happens), and I am filing I-130 and I-485 together. We will not get our cases transferred to California and we are guaranteed an interview, sad to say:) This has not slowed things down for me thus far - if you look at the spreadsheet a few pages back you'll see that my AP and EAD was pretty much on par with everyone else's.

We had our interview yesterday....man that was TOO EASY!! We were approved!! My wife got a I-551 stamp on her passport and the lady said she would get her green card in 2 weeks!
Wow! That was fast! What's your secret? lol

Thanks all for the congratulations. I have no secret, other than I did everything they asked for in the checklist, and the information from this website. I did include a cover letter and a description of each form and item from the checklist. Maybe that made it easier for them to process? It took me hours and hours to get the packet perfected to where if I were the immigration officer I would have no questions about my application. Maybe I'm just lucky as well. Good luck to everyone, I see lots of approvals coming. THanks

Just wondering...do you think it's because the medical is only valid for one year? What date did you receive the RFE?

Hi, please tell me what does this mean, this medical thing? I thought that if we include the vaccinations document from the Embassy it is enough, or maybe sometimes not? Thank you and good luck with the rest of the process.
