10/17/05 Answered email from him asking to talk

10/20/05 First time talking on hotmail msn

2/5-15/06 First visit, love his family celebrated my 20th birthday there

6/15- 7/15/06 stayed at parents house again in Morocco got engaged

10/16/06 got a good job so I had to wait to see him again

1/14-28/07 went to see him again for the last time in Morocco

2/8/07 happy birthday to me and I sent the papers for K-1

2/12/07 NOA1 for K-1 visa

I wonder if there is going to be only one interview (I'm filing for I-130 as well as AOS). Funny as my I-130 has not been touched at all since my NOA date and my AOS hasn't been touched since biometrics... Anyway, this is going so much faster now than I had expected! I'm very excited. :dancing: It is only 1.5 month before our second wedding anniversary-- does anyone know if we'll have to file for removal of conditions?

Wow! I think you win the prize for the most good news in one day. Thats FANTASTIC!!! I think you only have to have one interview, regardless of your concurrent filing. Don't know about lifting conditions though.

Nov 30 2007 - I enter US as a tourist to spend the ski season with my sweetie and figure out what we both want outta life - we plan on ending up in Canada, but...

Jan 30 2008 - We get married in Vegas! We decide to stay in the US.

Feb 08 2008 - File I-130, I-485, AP and EAD

Feb 11 2008 - Package arrives in Chicago

Feb 19 2008 - Receive NOA 1 for everything except I-485. NOA date Feb 15th

Feb 19 2008 - Touch I-130, AP, EAD

Feb 21 2008 - Receive I-485 NOA 1. NOA Date Feb 15th

Feb 22 2008 - Receive Biometrics notice, dated Feb 20th, for appointment March 11th

Feb 27 2008 - Walk in to Denver field office and have Biometrics taken early as the 11th March I'll be away

If you have been married 2 years by the time your AOS is approved, then no you wont have to file to remove conditions. You should get a 10 yr Greencard. ;)

tried to edit but couldnt.

If you have been married less than 2 yrs when your AOS is approved then you will receive the 2 yr Greencard and therefore have to file to remove conditions 90 days or so before your 2 yr GC expires.

2 years or more married at time of AOS approval = 10 yr GC, you wont need to remove conditions!!

We had our interview yesterday....man that was TOO EASY!! We were approved!! My wife got a I-551 stamp on her passport and the lady said she would get her green card in 2 weeks!

Congrats :wow:..you are the first feb filer to get approval..Enjoy :thumbs:

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)
