REALLY!!! WE NEVER RECEIVED an email/letter saying Card production ordered or card will arrive in 30 days.... NONE OF THIS... JUst this approval notice via email. Perhaps the one in the post office will say something different. So confused!

EXACTLY!! Also, i was just looking at other peoples signatures and many do get FIRST: Email of Card production, SECOND: Email of Approval and THIRD: EAD recieved in mail. I wonder why I never received a card production email. So strange... I hope all is well. I will let you know what we get in the mail if anything.

Yeah, I know what you are saying -- there was no intermediate email for most of us saying that we were approved, just an immediate email saying card production ordered. Personally, I think that it's a glitch in the system, and it probably means that your card WAS ordered, and that you are in the same stage of the process that all of us are in -- the update is just like a typo.

Consider the alternative. I don't think anyone gets NOAs that are merely approval notices for EAD and AP, they receive the actual document. For example, several people have made clear to me that the CIS update saying that we get an approval notice for AP is NOT an NOA, it is the ACTUAL advance parole document DOCUMENT. I am guessing that they are not sending you an NOA saying your EAD was approved, I am guessing they are getting ready to send you the actual EAD.

Good luck with that! That's a pretty dramatic tactic, so I'm sure it'll be very effective:) Personally, I sat on a bed of nails while watching a Teletubbies marathon. It seemed to work.

No, we didn't get any email notice, and no touch at the USCIS website either. We were totally surprised by the notice today. We were going to just book our flights to Europe, and rely on the email notice to tell us if/when we need to come back early. Now it looks like we might have missed the interview altogether if we weren't here physically to collect the mail.

Maybe we'll still get an email notice in a few days, I'll let you know...

By the way, I figured out that our "received" date is 01/29. Please modify it in the timeline that you so kindly and diligently keep for us all!
