Yeah, hope things start moving again this week!

January filers are starting to get their GC, so maybe it'll be our turn soon! Technically we filed on Jan. 29 (NOA1: Feb. 4). I have lots of trips planned for this summer, and it sucks not being able to book early, get cheap tickets, and eliminate the uncertainty for my friends and colleagues who are waiting to hear what's going on with me this summer. *sigh*

Unfortunately there is still nothing for our case. I am getting a little impatient because the way I see it its all going to happen when I start my new job. Oh well all I can do is pray for us all and wait. Good luck to you all and I hope we all get some good news soon.

In the same boat as you both. Are all of your documents at the National Benefits Center? God I hope this is the week when things start to happen. This sucks!

All documents (when you need to file an I-130) stay at National Benefits Center till they are transfered to a local office for interview.

There is no possible transfer to California Service Center for us.

Maybe that's why we aren't getting any governmental love - our date with USCIS is a sure thing!

I still can't see my I-130 online, which is a bit frustrating, but I have heard many cases of people whose files never show up on the system. Does anyone think this is worth calling about??

Thanks Lili, that was a suspicion that I was beginning to have more and more all the time--that since we filed I-130 with everything else, no transfer to CSC would occur for us, though we seem to be in the minority here (most people got a fiance visa first, and are therefore subject to transfer since they already interviewed). So, no big deal.

Your response raises a question, though. Our APs and EADs will all get processed at the NBC, right? That is, they will get processed independent of our AOSs and I-130s getting processed at the local offices? That's the impression I have, at least.

According to the AP tracker on this site, APs with filing dates of February 23rd are already being processed, so I am starting to worry. I would like to be able to think that this estimate doesn't apply to us for some reason (such as our concurrently filed I-130s), so that I don't need to think that my AP has somehow been overlooked.

I've never noticed that concurrent I-130s make a difference to the processing times for AP and EAD. But that is just from kind of looking at other people's timelines. I think we are still on the tail end of "okay" in terms of processing times for these docs.

I did not, however, realize that our I-130 was processed at a completely different office than our I-485, which makes me worried about mine not showing up online. Of course, now I can't go back on and obsessively check OR find the # for the mis-information line, becasue the USCIS website is down...

It totally sucks! I just checked Anthony Julie's list, and if you compare our NOA dates to others, there are still many VJ members with similar timeframes to ours who have not received AP or EAD notices yet. That's what made me put off major-dispair mode until maybe next week...but I agree, we are behind on the VJ timeline tool.

USCIS site is back up - I'm gonna call and check on my I-130. I'm sure it'll be fruitless and frustrating:) But ya never know!
