My EAD card came today!!! :D

Scary thing is, the wifey had accidently marked it "return to sender" and put it back in the mail box. we get so much of the previous tenants' mail that most of it goes back in the mailbox as RTS. Thank the lord i had a quick look in there this evening...

anyway, i got it now, and i'm over the moon

My case is so weired.. The interview appointment letter has just arrived today. it says I'll have an interview on May 2nd. However, My EAD and AP never have been touched since Biometric. How long it gonna take for me to get AP and EAD?

I am sure you will get the AP and EAD soon, it is usually issued within 90 days of filing. Best of luck at your interview.

its a valuable lesson, don't trust the wife I mean, always double check

and the next Interesting Thing: my AP came today as well, but that went to my old address. The envelope had the old address whilst the two sheets of paper inside both had my new address on them. Its these little nuances and foibles which endears us all to USCIS

we sent the package for AOS and EAD during the first week of february. the check was cashed, and i received a letter of approval for EAD (no news for AOS though) saying that i would receive another letter for an appointment for biometrics, a week after roughly. since then, i've been to the post office every day, and no mail!!! no appointment. no news for my AOS. no RFE.

i see that everybody had an answer within a week, then appointment pretty fast...what's hapening? i'm getting worried. anyone else had to wait that long?

plus my fiance visa expires this sunday! after that, what kind of proof do i have for staying in the usa, besides the fact that i'm married and have filed for AOS? help....

We filed AOS/EAD on Dec. 31st and today we finally received my hubby's EAD card in the mail!! Yay! It's valid for one whole year and we're so happy! He's been job hunting; so far nothing good has turned up, but at least now he has the card to show, not just saying "it's coming"!

1. is this the normal transfer procedure?

2. what is next if everything goes ok?

Hi lari_l, not sure what the procedure is but I too am with Vermont. As far as I can tell in MOST not all cases you will be granted you AOS from California without an interview. Not a guarantee. Just keep reading posts to see how things are going for the California transferees is the best and looking at the timelines of others.

From the posts that I have seen when the cases get transferred to CSC most of them are approved eventually without an interview. There are however some cases that end up being sent back to the National Benefits Centre and then sent on the persons local office in which case then you will have an interview. Cross your fingers that you get lucky and don't have to do the interview, I know I am.

Not sure to be honest on the medical, but at least you have it if they do send an RFE for it you can just send it to them.
