I'm not getting any touches (except on the day of biometrics)-- what, is my application chopped liver? And where's my transfer notice?

Again, how do you know that your application was touched?

every time you look at your online cases, make a note of the date it was last updated. if that date changes without any change in status, then you've been touched.

Where do you see that date? Is that the date from sentence:

On February 26, 2008, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS...

If this is the date that would change once "touched", I assume that the sentence would change as well...

It's the "last updated" date in the box before you click on the case number to view the sentence.

no, its the page before that, when you have the list of your cases. if you see the date has changed, then you click on the case but the status hasn't changed, its a touch

its not an exact science, but a touch shows that there's life going on inside USCIS...

OK, I just realized that one must be registered on USCIS web site to actually see the "touch" dates. Thus far I was checking status without being registered. I registered just now and can see the touch on 3/18/2008, the date of biometrics. Thanks for help, and sorry for confusion.

for those who have been waiting for quite a while, I got encouraging news!

I filed I485/I131 and they were delivered at Feb 18th, finally yesterday (Mar 18th) my checks were cashed!!!

I was a little panic but someone in this thread told me it's not very uncommon for AOS filer to wait over a month, even though most people see their checks cashed within 1 week.

It took one month - 30 days to be exact - for my case to finally make the first progress. Good luck on all of you Feb filers who are still waiting!

I must be chopped liver too, because my only touches were right after my biometrics:) My AP has not been touched since the NOA date and I can't see my I-130 online at all....

I just wanna be touched!!!!!!!!

Just a quick note, went for my Biometrics in Norfolk today. Was quick and easy. They said EAD would likely be 3 months from today. I will update if I hear otherwise and of course put it in my signature. Hope eveyone is doing great and that there will be more transfers and or approvals today.

Actually, you are supposed to receive your EAD 90 days from FILING, not from your biometrics....
