Hi, everyone!

Today I went to get my bio's done. Took an hour. I noticed that government clerks are not very "nice". And I think it is a good thing because it will only prepare us more for the interview. Meaning, I will not be expecting our officer to be all happy and attentive. I realize how many people they have to talk to every single day.

I remember, some time ago, one of the forumers here was not happy at her hubby's appointment because the receptionist sprayed the countertop after a man who did not look quite healthy, talked to her.

I say... with how I was coughing and sneezing today, I should have brought several containers of Clorox and Purell with me, and just spray all over myself and every person in the lobby, lol  I was so embarassed, and still I had to blow my nose in public!

I have a question: does the fact that i have had my bio's taken mean that they do not need any addtional initial evidence from us or they can still send a request?

You can get RFE'd up to the point that you have your approval in hand. You never know when one might come!

I agree the bios are the easiest. Now we sit and wait for our appointment letter or RFE (which I hope we don't get). Our case is still not viewable online and that totally sucks!

We can see ours, but the last time it was updated was March, 22nd, and all the activity was after that...So we are pretty much like you, guys!

Just giving my experience for my biometrics that I had on the 12th (just in case anyone has to go to the one in Atlanta,GA)

Arrive at 7:30am if possible, doors open at 8am. Only bring your appointment notice and whatever ID you have at the time to your appointment. Leave purses, handbags and cell phones in your car. They'll make you get out of your place in line and put them away. Stand in line at the door if you want to be 1st one in, even though being the 1st one in line doesnt mean your the 1st one to be seen. Depending on how fast you can write your info on the paper attached to the clipboard, you can be one of the 1st. Anyways, they took my fingerprints and pic, then they took 1 print of my son's index finger and his pic as well and he had to sign an "x" in the box as his signature. We were in and out within 15 minutes. It was painless and fast.

Hate to be the drag of the thread but here goes my update:

Just got back from the infopass appt and don't have anything really new to show for....they said the MSC is backlogged about 6 weeks (this is my 5th week) so to come back if I haven't heard anything in another 3 weeks (no NOAs or cashed checks)...kind of what I expected to hear...although I really don't know what that means since most people on this thread had their cases moved forward.....I guess I got to sit and wait a little longer....

The good part was that I got to see the Chicago Office and it is really nice, easy to access, and most importantly, everybody there was nice and customer service oriented (from the security guards to the immigration officer we spoke to). It was a great departure from what I have experienced with other contacts at the border (particularly the Canadian border coming back from Niagara Falls).

Well, hope to have good news to share in a few days (weeks)....

Hey cd,

I am happy to see that there is another Dutch person on here.

I opened a threat in the regional section for the Dutchies... Here's the link. Dutchies

It would be really cool if there were some more Dutch people that were posting there.

Just an update - I had my biometrics appointment in Seattle today. Started at 9:00 am, was done at 9:54 am. My experience was very similar to everyone else's, no need to really write about it. Except, the parking next to the building was $5 cash only, and I had no cash. Had to drive to the gas station to get the cash, but not a big deal though.

I still can't view any of my applications online. Hopefully that will change soon.

Went for my bio today at the Phoenix office. Super easy and fast. Don't be thrown off by the full waiting room, you are placed ahead of those people. In at 8:50, out by 9:15'ish. Everyone was nice, friendly and efficient!

Now on to more waiting....
