What does a touch look like!?!?haha Will I recive an e-mail due to a touch or shall I just obsess over the uscis site?

You can most likely just obsess like I do!! A touch is just when the date changes on a particular receipt. Like I had a touch this afternoon and it changed from March 9 to March 10th. If you get an email, you can expect a paper notice that something has happened with the case...such as transfer, RFE, approval, etc. If it's just a touch with no email, it's usually someone working on the file or switching desks or something internal like that.

**smacking self in head** LOL..thank you..you have saved me a few hours of obsessing(now I can simply obsess over when I'll receive the biometrics) oh hell who am I kidding...I'm going to obsess just as much..but thanks to you..I now know exactly which part (the dates) to obsess over!! hehe

I got my biometrics appointment letter today for March 19 at 9am. But the paper is actually a I-797C which is the NOA right? Is this normal to have the biometrics letter on the NOA? It's dated March 5 and I never received anything else since I submitted my AOS.

Hi DeeZee!got my NOA's today too but i dnt have my biometric schedule yet. it says ther that they will send an appointment notice for Biometrics. Good for you that you have the schedule already. Good luck!!!

my huby and i have been reviewing what we have as proof as us together . first our wedding day we took like 3 pics on our wedding day bc it was a small wedding just his brother us and the imam. next his name will/can't transfer onto our bills. such as electric and comcast. we also have pics of us around the city where i live but not alot. so in other terms right now we are screwed right? we have everything else straight we know how we met and all that other stuff but not hardly enough proof of us together. what should i do?

Is it possible/normal to receive an RFE after a case has been transferred to CSC? I have had 3 or 4 touches with no email update and I am getting nervous!

I'd been checking timelines on different thread and saw some timelines that had RFE after the transfer but each case varies. Keep it positive. I think, touches is a good thing..

I filed AOS/EAD at 2/18. Package was delivered successfully according to usps.com.

But the check was never cashed and I haven't received NOA.

Question: do you think both my wife and I need to show up for the appointment? (she is the USC)...

I really cannot advise you anything but just wanted to let you know I feel for you... I can only imagine how annoying it must be when you have done everything right and then there's just complete silence while everybody else's applications seem to be moving along. Good luck wtih your infopass appointment, hopefully they'll be able to help. Hang in there!

I haven't received my bio-metrics yet. In Tampa, looks like you will have to wait at least 2-3 months unlike other locations where it only takes few days to get your bio-metrics appointment...am so bummed about this for no fault of mine!!!

My case has been transferred to CSC on 03/03..can you update the timeline ? Thanks for maintaining this list...
