AOS & EAD Feb. 2008 Filers

Well, we filed AOS on Feb. 23- (certified return receipt) and the check hasn't been cashed nor, the USPS green reply card returned. We are starting to worry.

I haven't a clue of where we are now...

Mine is still not showing up Jen. Jen you put 3/15 for your bio apt instead of 3/18 hehe. I guess mine is on a Saturday.

I got the dates from hubby. Receipt date 2/20 Notice date 2/28.

I don't think the case number on the back of the checks is accurate. The 3 NOA1's all have a different case number, and none of mine matched up with that number on the check.

I sent my package Registered mail so we could get a signiture. Do you think thats going to cause problems with delivery??

Okay I have the notices in my hands and the notice date is actually 2/26 not 2/28. Also, the case number is different by one digit.

I received RFE for I-485 toady in the mail but wasn't sure of what they want..... It says :-

**"The petitioner/sponsor on form I-864,Affidavit of support has not signed form I-864A, Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member.

In order to process your application further, the petitioner/sponsor needs to sign and return the enclosed page(s) of form I-864A."**

What I'm not sure about is do they want the petitioner to fill out and sign the form I-864A I thought the for I-864A is to be filled out by the member of the household whom we are using as the co-sponsor or the petitioner and the co-sponsor fills out form I-864A??

Note the petitioner already filled out form I-864 while the co-sponsor filled out the I-864A earlier.. I don't know they RFE about this, I was thinking maybe the petitioner didn't sign on part 2 of the I-864A.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

The signature shouldn't cause a problem. Everybody does the same thing.

If you don't hear anything back soon, contact USPS and ask them to trace it. Insist on it. Don't let them give you the run around.

But i am crossing my fingers for ya so that it gets there tomorrow.

I just got an email stating my case had been transferred to California. Anyone know exactly what this might mean? I have heard you don't have to interview if this happens, but does this speed up the whole process in general? I haven't even had the biometrics appt yet.

Yes it's a good thing you not going to be interviewed and it speeds up the process for you.

Got three NOA's today, notice date is 02/27. None of the case numbers match the one on the back of my check.

Hey guys..can you tell me how some people know about their NOA's.. days(in some cases it appears a week) before they get them in the mail?(sorry..I hate to be a pain in the ###..but I'm being obsessive!!haha
