I have a question: I've noticed that I'm falling behind in the timeline here since a couple of people have received their NOAs even though they filed a few days later than me...could it be due to the fact that I filed a I-130/AOS/EAD/AP and most people here have already taken care of the I-130 part before? Or is it just random bad luck on my end? :unsure:

Timeline:

12/15/2007: Wedding

02/11/2008: AOS/EAD/AP/I-130 package sent

02/12/2008: Package received by USCIS

03/21/2008: Received package back (38 days), rejected due to missing signature on I-130 (darn it!!)

03/21/2008: Sent the package back to USCIS

03/23/2008: Package received and signed for by J Morones

03/27/2008: NOA dates

03/28/2008: Checks cleared!

03/29/2008: Received all 4 NOAs in the mail

03/31/2008: All 4 cases are online

04/02/2008: Biometrics letter (appointment for April 15th, 9am)

04/12/2008: Biometrics completed

06/12/2008: AP and EAD approved!

01/30/2009: Green card approved

02/26/2014: N-400 received by USCIS

03/20/2014: Biometrics appointment

06/10/2014: Initial Interview scheduled (request for re-schedule submitted due to pre-planned international travel)

06/13/2014: New interview letter issued for: 07/21/2014

07/21/2014: Interview completed: recommended for approval

07/24/2014: Received e-mail notification, case status: oath ceremony

07/28/2014: Received notice in the mail scheduling Oath Ceremony for 08/05

Last I heard, the K-3's were taking a while to process, but I'm not sure if that effects the NOA1.

Hmmm, I don't know but I don't think so...I filed the same way as you, as did Lili, and we both received our NOAs and Bio letter pretty quickly. But, I still can't track my I 130 online even though I have received the NOA-1. I can track the other three cases but no that one. I think the 130 and 145 definitely get dealt with separately. I think it is all just random and you will get your NOAs soon!

Concurrent I-130 and AOS

Nov 30 2007 - I enter US as a tourist to spend the ski season with my sweetie and figure out what we both want outta life - we plan on ending up in Canada, but...

Jan 30 2008 - We get married in Vegas! We decide to stay in the US.

Feb 08 2008 - File I-130, I-485, AP and EAD

Feb 11 2008 - Package arrives in Chicago

Feb 19 2008 - Receive NOA 1 for everything except I-485. NOA date Feb 15th

Feb 19 2008 - Touch I-130, AP, EAD

Feb 21 2008 - Receive I-485 NOA 1. NOA Date Feb 15th

Feb 22 2008 - Receive Biometrics notice, dated Feb 20th, for appointment March 11th

Feb 27 2008 - Walk in to Denver field office and have Biometrics taken early as the 11th March I'll be away

Apr 16 2008 - EAD card production ordered

Apr 16 2008 - AP approval sent

Apr 21 2008 - AP received in mail

Apr 21 2008 - EAD card production email received again - strange

Apr 24 2008 - EAD card approval notice sent email

Apr 26 2008 - EAD card received

May 03 2008 - Interview notice received -June 27th

May 22 2008 - Touch on I-485

June 09 2008 - I-130 finally shows up online and shows a touch that day, so does I-485

Jun 27 2008 - Interview - approved, stamped, received card production email. Ya-hoo!!!!

July 10 2008 - Card received

Total time from filing - approval: 4.5 months

MOVED TO SAN DIEGO!!

Lifting of Conditions

June 11 2010 - Package mailed

June 16 2010 - NOA date

July 2 2010 - Bio letter received - July 27th date

July 9 2010 - Early biometrics walk in San Marcos CA

Sept 16 2010 - Card production ordered

I'm on an H-1B too. I can imagine how you feel-- I was getting worried when my NOAs were just a few days late (and I haven't gotten my biometrics notice yet although others have) but have decided to stop agonizing-- at least I have a job and a work visa.

There doesn't seem to be any logic behind the process, just try not to take it personally. ;)

5-17-11: NOA date

6-14-11: biometrics date (missed notice + appointment due to travels)

6-16-11: fingerprints done

7-25-11: interview letter date

8-31-11: interview

9-20-11: oath!!!!

Sent in personal checks (noteworthy: written out to USCIS and not US Dept of Homeland Security...my slip-up...maybe that's causing a delay?)

I don't think that will cause a delay actually. I wrote mine out to USCIS and when I looked at the check online, it was crossed out and had a stamp over it saying US dept of homeland security.

I had my NOA's before my checks were cashed. I do not think there is a specific order.

AOS Approved on 10-17-08 (details in profile)

Removal of Conditions on 07-19-10

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.

I filed on the 17th jan, and my NOAs were dated 4th feb (20 days after filing), check was cashed 6th feb, and I received the NOAs around 8th Feb, then biometrics letter came about 2 days later.
