i don't worry about paperclips vs. staplers. if they would give RFE's for that kind of B.S., there would be RFE's all over the VJ-community.

i DO worry about my international birth certificate that i didn't have translated though...... But i figured i might give it a shot.

Just your husband needs to fill it out. How lucky, we both have Aussie husbands!

So how does your husband like it here in the states?

I would say he is enjoying it. We finally got an apartment on our own (instead of with my brother and sister!) Things are slowly falling into place. I think since he has visited twice before he knew what to expect and there weren't any huge shocks. Plus, we found a place that sells vegemite so that will keep him happy! How is your adjustment going?

He likes it here. He actually lived here for 8 yrs but had to go back to AU two yrs ago. So now hes finally back here with me. He loved AU though. Im sure he misses it as well as his family.

I received my Biometrics appointment letter today!! The letter is dated Feb 20th and the appointment is for March 11th. I had a touch on my app. on the 19th so I guess this was why!

Problem: I did not expect this to happen so fast and have booked a trip with flights right over that week. I have heard that you can try and walk in to the office on Wednesdays with your letter and try and get biometrics taken care of. Does anyone know anything about this? Maybe I should post this in the main AOS forum too...

Great, I'm glad for you! I'm really getting worried now. My package arrived on the same day in Chicago as yours and Lili's (Feb. 11) and I have yet to hear anything from USCIS (didn't receive NOAs, checks haven't been cashed).

Great, I'm glad for you! I'm really getting worried now. My package arrived on the same day in Chicago as yours and Lili's (Feb. 11) and I have yet to hear anything from USCIS (didn't receive NOAs, checks haven't been cashed).

It does seem very random. Maybe it got put on someone's desk and they went on vacation or off sick or something right away? I keep trying to picture my file on its journey inside that mysterious building...it feels like I sent my child off somewhere (after sweating over every tiny detail!) and the only way to keep track of him is these random reports...so it must be hard if you haven't heard anything yet:(
