I'm glad your trip to Canada went okay. Sometimes the Canadian border guards can be nice and sometimes, not so much. :whistle:

Is your online status still the same? Didn't you interview on the 17th too? C'mon Seattle!

Has your online status changed? If not, I can't imagine that they've cancelled your AP. If your AP is no longer valid, why didn't they didn't take it from you at the interview? Weird. :wacko:

Yes, I interviewed on 10/17 in Seattle, and my status still has not changed. However, I am not concerned as I have my AP if I need to travel anywhere and my EAD which doesn't expire until May 2009. So, I really don't care as long as my green card arrives before May. I have time...

Has your online status changed? If not, I can't imagine that they've cancelled your AP. I specifically asked the IO at the interview if I should still use the AP if I needed to go back to Canada and he said yes, everything is just the same as it has been until you get your GC. Yes, weird!!

I asked if I need to travel to Brazil in some emergency case, and he said so then I should go to USCIS and ask permission...I didn't like that very much, but he was pretty serious: no, you cannot use AP anymore since now.

Anyways...nothing change in my case online yet...and I hope don't need to travel anywhere now...

He said for to put the AP and EAD in some box of old documents.

I think he didn't think about what he said....

I'm a newbie here. Wow, I missed a lot of actions here, so many Seattle filers in this forum. I am also a Seattle filer, and I just received my GC today. Congrats on those of you who got their GC approved. For some of you who had interviews, and still waiting for update, just be faithful, it will come soon. Seattle timeline is very weird. Even our interview was kinda strange, we were very parepared, but the IO didn't ask to see any of our documents or photos, just some questions. A week after, we got update of "card production ordered", somehow my I-130 is still pending.

I hope all of you will receive your GC very soon.

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On November 13, 2008, we ordered production of your new card.

It's finally happened!! I've checked the website at least a dozen times today - as I do everyday - and finally a change! I was beginning to think that our IO in Seattle had taken an early holiday vacation and just left our file sitting there on her desk!

I'll still be hanging out at the mailbox waiting for the card (actually, with my work schedule I don't really hang out there at 4:30 am...lol) There's finally a light at the end of the tunnel...and actually light in the sky today, too. The rain has stopped!

Thanks to everyone for their encouragement and support, it means a lot!
