<Rant>

The Seattle office went two weeks further in a month. GRRR.

I am tired of waiting, I want to move on with my life... I want this interview, tell them I want to take my hubby's name and travel with him.

I want to go to school paying in-state tuition. I want to be in some kind of status, not an immigration limbo/no man's land.

Seattle, would you please send us interview letters? We are among the last ones in the February filers. My highlight of the day consists of crossing my fingers while opening my mailbox to only realize that no letter from USCIS arrived. It is just pathetic.

Pretty please?

I am off to the gym, to steam off.

<Rant off>

There are still a number of us in January waiting on Seattle. They seem to be either very busy or very slow to process.

We're hoping to receive interview appointment letters in the next few weeks.

Who knows if we will. :huh:

I know the feeling. I was told the Portland, OR office is slow too, but according to USCIS, my case has still not been transfered. I guess I'll hang out on this thread for a while if no one minds as most all of the March filers have moved on with their GC's and lives (along with many April and May filers!) What's up with USCIS?? :bonk:

My thinking is each IO gets a caseload and schedule ID at their choosing. Some are slower than others perhaps.

Hi Lili,

I am from Chicago as well as have the same timeline as yours. I called INS last week after the processing time is now at March 01. So, I went ahead and made an infopass appointment on Oct 03. Will see if i will get an interview letter before that...

I really want this to be over just like many of us here... :blush:
