Nov 30 2007 - I enter US as a tourist to spend the ski season with my sweetie and figure out what we both want outta life - we plan on ending up in Canada, but...

Jan 30 2008 - We get married in Vegas! We decide to stay in the US.

Feb 08 2008 - File I-130, I-485, AP and EAD

Feb 11 2008 - Package arrives in Chicago

Feb 19 2008 - Receive NOA 1 for everything except I-485. NOA date Feb 15th

Feb 19 2008 - Touch I-130, AP, EAD

Feb 21 2008 - Receive I-485 NOA 1. NOA Date Feb 15th

Feb 22 2008 - Receive Biometrics notice, dated Feb 20th, for appointment March 11th

Feb 27 2008 - Walk in to Denver field office and have Biometrics taken early as the 11th March I'll be away

Apr 16 2008 - EAD card production ordered

Apr 16 2008 - AP approval sent

Apr 21 2008 - AP received in mail

Apr 21 2008 - EAD card production email received again - strange

Apr 24 2008 - EAD card approval notice sent email

Apr 26 2008 - EAD card received

May 03 2008 - Interview notice received -June 27th

May 22 2008 - Touch on I-485

June 09 2008 - I-130 finally shows up online and shows a touch that day, so does I-485

Jun 27 2008 - Interview - approved, stamped, received card production email. Ya-hoo!!!!

July 10 2008 - Card received

Total time from filing - approval: 4.5 months

It looks like we have the same time line, I sent my husband's AOS on Feb 7th...

Did you have an interview prior to approval?

No.

My file was sent to the California Service Centre where it collected some dust.

I hope you hear something sooooooooooon!!!

I went to my Infopass appointment in Seattle today.

For all Seattleites, the parking lot next to USCIS building has increased to $6 from $5. :(

The lady was real nice. :) Her name was Yukiko.

So the namecheck was completed back in March. When I asked her when to expect the interview letter, she called someone else who told her they were sending out interview letters for cases from late December.

It is a waiting game but I feel a bit more patient after her telling me everything was fine and no letter was sent to me. :)

Looks like your Infopass appointment better than mine. The lady who met with us with neither friendly, nor helpful. Al she told us was that the application was still 'pending'. While I am happy that you had someone who was helpful, I am infuriated at the inconsistency. Ah well.. I guess I'll just have to wait now.

Just got an email yesterday saying that my card production was ordered!! Yay no medical! After so many years of waiting to file I finally have my green card! Next step Naturalization! Good luck to you guys that are still waiting!

I saw applicants for N-400 (naturalization) from Seattle who applied like us in February, and they just received their interview letter. So maybe another month or two and we should hear something. :)

Hello everyone,

Have not checked this post for quite some time after i got overwhelmed with work. I am another one who is still wating.. no updates.. nothing...

I can only hope that things go fine with my case .. at least.. I am glad with those who got their good news.. Hopefully my time will come shortly..

01/2003: Came to US(F1 visa)

02/2006: Started dating with my USC husband in CA.

06/2006: He moved to IL. I was on OPT (F1 at that time)

10/2006: I relocated to IL, and moved in with my husband.

09/2007: OPT ended. I went out of the US.

10/2007: I came back to the US on H1B.

01/2008: We got married.

02/07/2008: We filed I130/I485 package to USCIS

03/07/2008: NOA for all applications

03/27/2008: Fingerprinting was done.

04/08/2008: I got AP in the mail.

04/15/2008: I got EAD in the mail.
