AOS & EAD Feb. 2008 Filers

Hi all, my AOS/EAD package was delivered in Chicago on Feb. 11, 9 am, and my checks haven't been cashed yet. Should I be worried? (I know, I know, this process gets out the worst in people like me who tend to obsess over things outside their control.)

For what it is worth, mine was delivered the very next day and still no cashed checks....but there was a holiday on Monday so I'm thinking this might delay things a little...

It seems to take about 7-11 days to cash the check from when they receive it.

Mine arrived the same day and the checks are still not cashed. So no worries!!

I'm so frustrated!! USPS sucks!!! So much!!! I sent my package off on the 8th, and it's still not delivered yet!!! Plus, it's supposed to be priority shipping too! Aww and it's President's Day tomorrow too, so they won't be working.. I really hope and pray they didn't lose my package.....

Do you have a tracking number?

I do have a tracking no, and my package was sent via USPS Priority mail too, which is supposedly not to take more than 5 days to be delivered. BUT I REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THEM?!

My package has been bounced back and forth and we've called them 3 times, and they just keep telling us that as they are just customer service, they do not know what's going on??? And they said they'll get somebody to call us back, but nope, nobody called us back.

And we delivered it to the USCIS Chicago lockbox at this address,

right?? I'm so tired of listening to their lame excuses, I found that there is another address where you can use non-USPS couriers to deliver to. You guys think we should do that instead? But that means we have to go print out all those forms again, and get another certified copy of the marriage cert...oh my geez.............

Well, it seems to be in Chicago so it shouldn't be too long.

If i were you, i would bug them again and again. And also ask for a refund as i am sure you paid expedite service for it. They made a promise to deliver within a certain time frame. Get your money back for your incompetence.

Hopefully, it will get delivered soon. You send it to the right adress.

If i were you, i would bug them again and again. And also ask for a refund as i am sure you paid expedite service for it. They made a promise to deliver within a certain time frame. Get your money back for your incompetence.

Hopefully, it will get delivered soon. You send it to the right adress.

But it was also in Chicago on the 12th and then bounced back to Elk Grove What the heck is wrong with them???

You should goto your local post office and talk to someone. Take your original paid receipt, you should be getting your money back since they delayed your delivery(its only a small consolation and I would rather the documents reach on-time).

Ask for the phone number for the post office location at *CHICAGO, IL 60607 * since your package is at that location and then follow up with them..

It sounds like your package has arrived where it needs to be. Did it say it was signed for by anyone?

It's still not delivered yet. The status now is just Arrival at Unit.

Hi, i'm not sure why some of my info is not showing up. I filled in my timeline but on the chart it has my sent and received dates blank (sent feb 4th, received the 5th, noa1 on the 12th). Is there something I should do to fix this?
