Hi !

Good day to all,

I am still waiting for my AOS interview date. Its been 5 months since i file my AOS papers.

I am wondering what making it so long.

My husband keep on asking me, if there is any update with my AOS

what should I do?should I telephone the USCIS and inquire about my case, or just wait?

Make an INFOPASS appointment to visit your local USCIS office (can also be done on the USCIS website) and they will research your pending case. It seems you are way pass your 90 days since filing for your AOS so technically you shouldnt have a problem getting the appointment. Good Luck!

Did you get any touches after the interview? I'm just curious because I had the interview this morning. It was easy and the adjudicator said that the application is approved. BUT, she said she will approve it later this afternoon or tomorrow morning and I should received the greencard within 2 weeks. Checked the USCIS but still, the last update for my AOS was the date of my biometrics. So I doubt if she update/(approved) it..

On our way back home, I realized that I gave her a wrong answer to one of her question (date confusion, ya knoe).. I'm sorta bothered about it..

Julie

You were never a mistake. You were my realization.

Had green card interview and got approved on the spot! The officer barely asked any questions about our relationship. All he really asked was for us to confirm our identity and then the standard "are you a criminal, druggie, etc" questions.

He said we should have our card in the next few weeks. All in all, very uneventful!
