Hi everyone,

I just want to introduce myself to the forum i came in here a couple months ago but never registed but now I've decided to come and register because i feel adding my info will be very valuable to the forum. I hope my info is useful to others!

Nov 30 2007 - I enter US as a tourist to spend the ski season with my sweetie and figure out what we both want outta life - we plan on ending up in Canada, but...

Jan 30 2008 - We get married in Vegas! We decide to stay in the US.

Feb 08 2008 - File I-130, I-485, AP and EAD

Feb 11 2008 - Package arrives in Chicago

Feb 19 2008 - Receive NOA 1 for everything except I-485. NOA date Feb 15th

Feb 19 2008 - Touch I-130, AP, EAD

Feb 21 2008 - Receive I-485 NOA 1. NOA Date Feb 15th

Feb 22 2008 - Receive Biometrics notice, dated Feb 20th, for appointment March 11th

Feb 27 2008 - Walk in to Denver field office and have Biometrics taken early as the 11th March I'll be away

Apr 16 2008 - EAD card production ordered

Apr 16 2008 - AP approval sent

Apr 21 2008 - AP received in mail

Apr 21 2008 - EAD card production email received again - strange

Apr 24 2008 - EAD card approval notice sent email

Apr 26 2008 - EAD card received

May 03 2008 - Interview notice received -June 27th

May 22 2008 - Touch on I-485

June 09 2008 - I-130 finally shows up online and shows a touch that day, so does I-485

Jun 27 2008 - Interview - approved, stamped, received card production email. Ya-hoo!!!!

July 10 2008 - Card received

Total time from filing - approval: 4.5 months

Well, since I received work authorization, no news at all....No letters, no touches, nothing...

Things are not going quite well between us two, so I am not even sure if we would make it for the interview, but I still do not enjoy hanging like this...

Although, I went through our chart, and seems like a bunch of people do not even have their interview letters yet, right? How do you think, maybe I should get an info pass?

Sent: February 13th.

Received: February 14th at 2:11 p.m.

Checks cashed: February 22nd.

Noa's dated February 21st : February 25th.

Biometrics appointment : March 15th.

EAD Card ordered: April 17th.

EAD approval notice sent: April 25th.

EAD card received: April 28th.

I'm sorry to hear things aren't working out AE, I hope they do get better. This process can be hard on even the strongest couples. I know the adjustment process has been difficult for both of us, from different perspectives. Hang in there. I have a similar time line and we don't have any touches on the AOS side since 3/11. I checked out the December filers forum today and some folks there are just getting there green cards this month (JUNE). Just hang in there and work on making your marriage work. Good luck...

Does anyone know if our TIMELINE has been updated recently? Maybe we can repost it with fresh info. I'd like to see where we stand in the process.

No touches on my paperwork after AP / EAD either. My lawyer advised me that all I could do is to wait for the interview notice. He is of the opinion that my interview might not be until September. He also didn't believe that an Infopass appointment would yield any specific information. I plan to wait until the end of July and if I don't see any movement will make an Infopass appointment anyway.

I never received any touches AOS application since March but I received the interview notice for Aug. I did had touches on AP and EAD prior to their approval. Just hang in their you will receive the letter soon!

Serously! Should we worry? While we were on vacation in Germany we rec'd an email on June 16 "welcome to the US." So exciting but still not card in the mail. We never received another email.... stating card production or such. Anyway we did have a change of address mid May. We called and filled it out online and I (petitoner) also filled out my form. When We got back from Vacation I (petioner) receieved a change of address acknowledgement in the mail. He did not receive anything, No welcome letter, no approval letter, NOTHING! Should we worry? Last touch was June 27.

10/26/07 Packet 3 rec'd

Congratulations to those recently approved! :thumbs: My case is hitting 5 months after filing AoS today. There have been no updates on my AOS application since Biometric 3/27. I wonder though what if an interview notice is lost in the mail, how one should know about the notice?

01/2003: Came to US(F1 visa)

02/2006: Started dating with my USC husband in CA.

06/2006: He moved to IL. I was on OPT (F1 at that time)

10/2006: I relocated to IL, and moved in with my husband.

09/2007: OPT ended. I went out of the US.

10/2007: I came back to the US on H1B.

01/2008: We got married.

02/07/2008: We filed I130/I485 package to USCIS

03/07/2008: NOA for all applications

03/27/2008: Fingerprinting was done.

04/08/2008: I got AP in the mail.

04/15/2008: I got EAD in the mail

Just got back from my interview today, it went smoothly, the IO was very nice, she was just very particular with the evidences and proofs of our relationship, in fact she didnt ask a lot of question but she spent too much time looking at our evidences, she only ask me the following question:

How did u met?

How long you've been together before deciding to file the petition?

Are you working right now?

and those question about terrorism.

She just ask my hubby if he is still working on the same company and thats it, she printed out a letter stating that they granted me a lawful permanent resident and the card should be mailed to me within 2 wks, if i do not receive the card in two weeks, i must schedule for infopass. That's it, now Im done! Goodluck to those who are still waiting, see yah guys on Removing of condition...hehehe!

I've got some exciting news!!! I got my interview notice in the mail today!!! Finally. We are scheduled to have our interview on August 29th at 11am in San Jose. That week is going to be a busy one for me! I have to take my PCAT on August 23rd and I start my last semester of University on the 25th. So glad I finally got it though because hubby has to leave for Texas at the end of September because he's finishing some training for the Army. Hope this week is a good week for everyone who is waiting!

Got my sons GC on July 2nd. I'm glad this whole thing is over at least for the next 2 years.

Here's my K-1 Timeline:

October 2006 - I-129F sent

10/24/2007 - INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!....APPROVED!!

10/30/2007 - Visa in hand!

AOS Timeline:

1/30/08 - Sent AOS pkg Priority Mail with USPS

3/12/08 - Biometrics taken

3/29/08 - EAD and AP in hand for me and my son

5/21/08 - Email-GC on its way!...RFE for my son's application

5/27/08 - GC arrives!!!

7/02/08 - Sons GC arrives!!!

ROC TIMELINE

3/23/10 - ROC sent!

3/29/10 - NOA1

4/22/10 - Biometrics Appt for me and my son
