Well after an RFE for my 4 year old son's application a month ago, I got an email yesterday saying his GC is on its way. I'm glad this whole process is over at least for the next 2 years. Guess its a good birthday present for his 5th birthday tomorrow.

congrats!!! my case untill now I dont know no touch or anything I am started to worry amI deny or what :innocent::whistle: I have son and the gc bother me sometime why no touch

just hang on there cris you will get yours sooner than you think...

Congrats to the recent approvals! I'm still checking on this thread from time to time and hoping all vj feb. filers can have their approvals soon :thumbs:

Nov 30 2007 - I enter US as a tourist to spend the ski season with my sweetie and figure out what we both want outta life - we plan on ending up in Canada, but...

Jan 30 2008 - We get married in Vegas! We decide to stay in the US.

Feb 08 2008 - File I-130, I-485, AP and EAD

Feb 11 2008 - Package arrives in Chicago

Feb 19 2008 - Receive NOA 1 for everything except I-485. NOA date Feb 15th

Feb 19 2008 - Touch I-130, AP, EAD

Feb 21 2008 - Receive I-485 NOA 1. NOA Date Feb 15th

Feb 22 2008 - Receive Biometrics notice, dated Feb 20th, for appointment March 11th

Feb 27 2008 - Walk in to Denver field office and have Biometrics taken early as the 11th March I'll be away

our interview is coming up........ I am so scared... and I don't even know why.

My husband came here on a K-3 visa, and we have been married for year and half. What kinda proofs should we take? We live with the parents so we don't have any phone bill or rent together. We only have a joint bank account and like millions of pictures.

AOS is a weird process for K-3 folks because the consulate has already checked for bona fide marriage but have to go through it again.

anyhow, any advice? tips?

Any kind of life insurance policy naming each other as a beneficiary; health insurance showing emergency contact; even a blockbuster video joint rental account; make a lease with your parents even; Pieces of mail addressed to the two of you, anniversary cards; family cell phone plan; a letter from an employer or something on a company letterhead stating that he/she knows of your genuine relationship (we used my husband's boss).

I was so nervous before ours too! I wasn't on a spousal visa and we've only been married 5 months - they never even looked at anything we brought.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Like you said - this is like a second check - it seems like it is much less intense than the visa interview (from what I have heard).

Tell us how it goes! Get lots of sleep the night before!

No news whatsoever. If i have a chance to take a day off with work, i will shedule an infopass in July or August.

Hope you all are doing well. :lol:

(sigh ...) We are hitting our 5 months after filing AOS application.. no updates on our case. Our local processing time - Chicago was at Dec 09 the latest.. I thought this should be the time to hear about the interview letter or something.. I really wonder what they are doing or wait for on my case.. :angry:

01/2003: Came to US(F1 visa)

02/2006: Started dating with my USC husband in CA.

06/2006: He moved to IL. I was on OPT (F1 at that time)

10/2006: I relocated to IL, and moved in with my husband.

09/2007: OPT ended. I went out of the US.

10/2007: I came back to the US on H1B.

01/2008: We got married.

02/07/2008: We filed I130/I485 package to USCIS

03/07/2008: NOA for all applications

03/27/2008: Biiometrics (Last touch on AOS)

04/08/2008: I got AP in the mail.

04/15/2008: I got EAD in the mail.
