Just checking in to say Hi!! I've been working - YAY!!!! It's so odd to be earning money again. We have our interview on Friday so I am spending the day gathering our evidence, but I keep getting distracted reading all our engagement cards and Christmas cards and playing on the internet. I am a member of an "alternative" brides forum, and we just started a group for immigrating brides (we are planning a big family wedding right now). I feel so much more comfortable with all the immigration stuff than many of the other girls I have been chatting to on the site - and I know it's because of this community. THANKS everyone! I have referred them all here:)

CONGRATS to everyone who has received good news this week. And big hugs to everyone still waiting...:)

There are a few of us left.

Tic toc tic toc...

There have to be something going on with the applicantions from California, I notice a few of the applications are in hold, Spirit Alight from a K-1, G&A has a K-3 visa and ssrose18 has a K-1 and of course my husband has a K-3 visa waiting for AOS, in my husband's personal case, he had not been touched since biometrics, and this was five months ago.

I'm happy for the ones who are done waiting, but come on, it's like making a long line and seeing people cutting you in the line. Does it make any sense?

Just an update again...we received the welcome notice and the green card in the mail! Surprisingly it didn't take as long as we though. We filed K-1 just about a year ago, and we already have the green card. It's so annoying to wait, but in the end, it seems a lot quicker looking back.
