We had our interview on Wednesday. The interviewer asks you every question on the 485 form, including name, birth date, do you plan to violently overthrow the government, etc. to make sure the answer is the same as when you filled out the form. When she finds a typo- for example my birth year was given as 2008- she corrects it and you have to sign that there is a correction. Then she has a small list of wedding-related questions: How did you meet, where did you marry, did you have a honeymoon, have you met each others' families, were the families at the wedding, who was at the wedding, was it large or small, how long did you date before deciding to get married. If you filed with your 2006 tax returns, at the end of the interview she will ask you for a copy of the petitioner's W2 and 2007 tax returns. We didn't have this with us, so we will drop it off there next week. In order to save you this time, I recommend you have it with you at the interview. The interviewer said after she receives this information, more bureaucracy will occur, and then we will be notified with the decision. It was a very low stress quick procedure, just jumping through more hoops. Good luck to all the others!

I will be checking back hopefully later tonight and if not then tomorrow morning definately.

Well not tonight. Hopefully tomorrow, and I don't have to work tomorrow so hopefully! But I did get my driver's license in the mail today (my other one expired), the DMV thought it would take months because they supposedly had to check up with USCIS to make sure that I was indeed in the process of getting a green card. So yay for getting my license, boo for no interview notice yet.
