K-1 journey, AOS/EAD and ROC in my timeline

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

Feb 18th, 2008-Paperwork mailed by laywer.

Feb 24th, 2008-NOA for all

March 22nd, 2008-Biometrics appointment.

March 24th, 2008-Touch on I-765

April 17th, 2008-Touch on I-485

April 30th, 2008-Card production ordered.

May 5th, 2008-Card production ordered again.

May 6th, 2008-Touch on I-765

May 8th, 2008-Approval notice sent for I-765

May 9th, 2008-Received EAD card in mail.

May 17th, 2008-Another touch on EAD (?)

May 21st, 2008-Interview date.

June 9th, 2008-Card production ordered and I-130 finally showing up online.

June 13th, 2008-Welcome letter arrived in mail.

June 18th, 2008-"Approval letter sent" email received from CRIS.

June 20th, 2008-Green card received!

I could use my GC now because today i got a very nice job offer out of the blue... It is in security (like I did back in Europe) and the minimum wage starts at $24 an hour :thumbs:

I was not planning on working anytime soon, but this might change things :whistle:

April 07, 2010 - packet delivered and signed

April 12, 2010 - check was cashed

April 13, 2010 - received NOA1 (dated 04/08/10)

May 07, 2010 - Biometrics

May 10, 2010 - Touched

June 23, 2010 - APPROVED WITHOUT INTERVIEW!!!

I will watch your sweepstakes carefully, Leafgal.

I'm starting to get nervous about our interview!! My husband came home from work the other day to tell me that one of his co-workers had just had his interview with his new wife, and he said it was pretty tough. And he (the coworker) expressed complete shock that we are going without a lawyer. Oh well!!

Plus, I just found out we are probably moving to San Diego in July!! Yay!!!!!!! I am very stoked at the thought of seeing palm trees every day. I'm Canadian, okay??? But now I am completely nervous of moving while this process is still ongoing. So I had better get that greencard quicksmart, right after my interview!

I can't believe how many of you are getting approvals already - this is just so great. Congratulations!!

I am coming back to the US on Sunday using my AP so I'll let everyone know how it goes. Not that it applies to very many of you anymore!

Concurrent I-130 and AOS

Nov 30 2007 - I enter US as a tourist to spend the ski season with my sweetie and figure out what we both want outta life - we plan on ending up in Canada, but...

Jan 30 2008 - We get married in Vegas! We decide to stay in the US.

Feb 08 2008 - File I-130, I-485, AP and EAD

Feb 11 2008 - Package arrives in Chicago

Feb 19 2008 - Receive NOA 1 for everything except I-485. NOA date Feb 15th

Feb 19 2008 - Touch I-130, AP, EAD

Feb 21 2008 - Receive I-485 NOA 1. NOA Date Feb 15th

Feb 22 2008 - Receive Biometrics notice, dated Feb 20th, for appointment March 11th

Feb 27 2008 - Walk in to Denver field office and have Biometrics taken early as the 11th March I'll be away

Apr 16 2008 - EAD card production ordered

Apr 16 2008 - AP approval sent

Apr 21 2008 - AP received in mail

Apr 21 2008 - EAD card production email received again - strange

Apr 24 2008 - EAD card approval notice sent email

Apr 26 2008 - EAD card received

May 03 2008 - Interview notice received -June 27th

May 22 2008 - Touch on I-485

June 09 2008 - I-130 finally shows up online and shows a touch that day, so does I-485

Jun 27 2008 - Interview - approved, stamped, received card production email. Ya-hoo!!!!

July 10 2008 - Card received

Total time from filing - approval: 4.5 months

MOVED TO SAN DIEGO!!

Lifting of Conditions

June 11 2010 - Package mailed

June 16 2010 - NOA date

July 2 2010 - Bio letter received - July 27th date

July 9 2010 - Early biometrics walk in San Marcos CA

Sept 16 2010 - Card production ordered

bluegreen that news of moving is great (don't worry we will make sure that mother nature has your new address so she can ship your snow to you) lol. We had a lawyer file our paperwork, part of the deal when we hired her for the K-1 visa and I wouldn't even think of having her come with us to an interview if we have one. I am sure it will be fine.

No EAD card?

No EAD card because I was not planning on working yet. :wacko: But that is no problem. They told me that they would wait for me to make a decision and the GC if they needed to :thumbs:
