Maybe they have security throughout the night since its a government building....still though 10:10pm is pretty late to receive a package. Who knows with the postal service!

Hello Feb. filers!

Our AOS package has just been mailed, so we're joining your ranks. :)

Things happen slowly here - we're almost at the end of 90 days now, and still no SS card, though I applied immediately upon arrival!

Hope US-sickos process my EAD quickly!

Congratulations, I hope it all goes well!

My question for you is about your SS card. My husband's only took about 2 weeks to arrive, did you try calling them or anything? Did they give you a receipt? 90 days seems like a really long time for a social security card. Even when I changed the name on mine, it was about 10 days to arrive.

I went to the SS office here in Raleigh on December 10 and got a receipt saying I'd receive SS card in 4 weeks. After 7 weeks of waiting and unanswered phone calls, we went back to the office and they gave us a NEW receipt saying we filed on January 28 :) and would receive SS card in 2 weeks. The lprocessing did not give us ANY explanation of the delay. Now it's been 3 weeks and still no sign of the card.

I guess I would be considered a Feb. filer and not a Jan filer even though I mailed my stuff in Jan. They didn't send my NOA until Feb 4th. So I'm with you guys!
Welcome to this thread..

Hey guys...

We sent out our package on the 15th and are just waiting for it to be picked up, hopefully by tomorrow.

We just have one concern. We currently live in Hudson, WI with Mel's parents but we're thinking of moving to Maplewood, MN in a few months. Here's the issue. We want to retain our Wisconsin residency but since we'll be living in MN, all our utility bills will have a MN address. We will both have WI driver's licenses.

I am just wondering what are the implications of having two addresses on this process...

Thanks in advance for any responses!!!

Sorry I can't help regarding the address; just want to welcome you in this thread.. Goodluck.

Maybe it will come tomorrow. Sometimes, it happens that they don't come at the same time. :) Wait a day or two before worrying.

On another note, i am excited you got them coz my paperwork was received the same day as yours. So i am right around the corner from ya. :)
