AOS & EAD Feb. 2008 Filers

Today I got mail from USCIS that they cancelled my interview on June 02, 2008 but i haven't receive any mail from them stating that they already scheduled an interview and even my status online was not touch since after my biometrics, Im so confuse right now. Anyone experience the same thing? what do i need to do? Do i still need to show up on the day of the interview? Please i need ur advice... Thank you in advance

The general consensus around here is that you go to the interview anyway. The worst that could happen is that they tell you that it was indeed canceled. From what I've heard from others on this board, I'd say that it's very likely that you'd have your interview if you go on the scheduled date...

Have you tried Craigslist in your job search? There is usually a lot of jobs posted on there!

I already had a job before getting my new ead. I have been working for 10 months here. But i am looking for another job as i am not very happy working here. Haven't had time to look for one as i am working too much overtime.

Idealist.org has a lot of really awesome jobs too, a lot of them are non profit and pay decently, although i'm not sure what you are interested in! Good luck!

Congrats to everyone who had their AOS approved too. It's awesome it's all moving so quickly....now hopefully it continues!

Well then I will say good luck in your hopefully soon job search. I have checked out craigslist, but not in the last few days I will do that.

never recieved the EAD in the mail. Then on May 13th, I recieved an other notice that the EAD card was ordered. I still haven't recieved the EAD card.

It has happened to several people. In fact if you read this thread you'll see that more than three people (self included) have reported the same duplicate messages that you received. All of us received our EAD cards. The only difference though is that your initial notice is a month old, so the delay in getting your card appears to be longer. I would suggest giving it another week and then calling USCIS.

no touches on aos, but i130 was touched today. so was i765 and i131 even though we have received them almost 2 weeks ago.

Thanks ...It wasn't helpful at all I am not happy with the situation, we drove 3hrs from Alabama to Atlanta , All they told me was do you have your receipt number I said yes, the IO printed out a paper and she told me she was going to email the NBC to expedite my EAD since It's over 90days and I should received the card within 2 weeks..... I asked could I apply for Interim EAD she said they don't give that out anymore

I guess there is nothing I can do but wait.....I am so disturbed right now, I don't even know what to do :crying:

So sorry... Must be hard to see others already getting their AOS. I'm crossing my fingers that you'll get the EAD soon. Maybe get started applying for jobs-- if the IO is right you'll get your EAD soon.

My daughter is doing better..she seems to have stablized..maybe all she needed was her Mom! They let her out of the hospital..doesn't mean she won't end up back in there...but for now..I'll take it!

My EAD arrived while I was away..looks like alot of people are moving right along

As far as the Feb filers go, I think there's a chart maybe one or two pages back. A few people got their AOS approved, and many have received lots of touches... So things are definitely moving along.

Got touch today but its for EAD,its weird since I have already my EAD Card, still no touches for AOS. Hayzzz! This is so confusing, yesterday I received the cancellation letter for the interview and i dont even have the idea that they already scheduled me for interview and now instead ill get a touch for my AOS,they do it on my EAD.
