hi everyone,

i have a quick question...my case hasn't transfer to csc...I don't think it will...

is it possible to get approve withouth an interview even though my case is never transfered to csc?

I heard from others that if you're in w/ K-1, most likely USCIS will let you go without an interview...not true?

Is there an easy way to look up the local offices for FEB filers who have their interview scheduled other than click on each and every login name?

Would be nice to add the local office info to the tracking thread... :D

Hi everyone!

Congratulations to all on line touches and received cards!

I am starting to be nervous, because I haven't received any news and last touch on line was on 04/03/08.

I have called to USCIS information line, but they said there is nothing new about my case.....

Any suggestions anyone?

Sorry about that, I didn't realize you hadn't received your EAD yet. If you don't have it in the next couple weels I would book an infopass appointment because you are coming up close on 90 days.

I've not heard of that ever happening.

Only ever heard of CSC transferees being approved without interview

Well... Guess what ppl... I was feeling a bit depressed so I decided to go to the gym. When I got back, I decided to check the mail... I got a letter from the USCIS and when I opened it, it was my AP... I wasn't too impressed since it had been approved since the 22nd of April.

Well, I decided to check the progress of my AOS online. You'd never believe what I saw:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On May 13, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Finally, I can relax for two years... lol

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!! CONGRATS! Question, it only lasts 2 years? We have to do this again within 2 years!!! say it isn't so!!!

You have to remove conditions in 2 years and when it gets approved you will get a 10 year green card.

K-1 journey, AOS/EAD and ROC in my timeline

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)
