AOS & EAD Feb. 2008 Filers

OK..just had my infopass heres what happened

The officer tried to track the info..but told us they no longer are able to print off a copy(they used to beable to but a new director came in last month and changed their system..

SO..he told me to call the border where we are crossing and explain to them she IS approved..and we can prove it but her expedited AP has been lost in the mail and we need to go immediately.

I called CBP and they told me that it would take longer to process but she is a minor and she absolutely won't be turned away..that they will look up her approval there to verify and not to worry..they will let her back in!

If her AP happens to show up in the week we're gone my husband will fedex it.

so there ya go!

OMG..her papers arrived today!!! I was terribly nervous even though they said it would be fine(all it takes is 1 jack a$$ to mess the whole thing up! so we're out of here at 6 am! i'm already a grandma to her first..and lets pray she doesn't have this one while i'm there..shes not far enough along!! pray pray pray for her please!

For what its worth I got AP and EAD within the last week. I guess I won't be needing them since my wife got her green card before this documents. SSN arrived last week as well, finally everything is done. Congrats to everyone getting their approvals!!

I received my EAD card yesterday and applied for SSN today. I spoke to an immigration officer on the phone and I was told that it has been taking 12-13 months to process GC.

OMG Shawna I am so thrilled. Have a great flight and a great visit with your daughter and make her well so you can come home and not worry too much. Do keep us updated as to how things are going while you are away.
