You can print out the page you get right before buying the ticket. The page that has all the flight information on it.

You have to be positive mami. Everything will work out find, just trust and believe and everything else will follow. You are on your way and almost there

Girl, you know they are not going to deny you a visa to go to Ghana. Would you stop stressing yourself out!

 Zainab I try not to stress out but I cant help it. Everything is coming down to this day. I cant leave without him I havent seen him in over a year! I just have a lot on my shoulders even more than just this immigration stuff and I need some help and things would be much smoother with my partner shouldering some of it here with me. Im just tired of being the one in the family that everyone counts on and goes to, you know? Im ok with it because im the only one in my family who is sane but it can get overwhelming for me and I feel at my breaking point right now. I just try to leave it in God's hands but then I turn around and snatch it back up out of his palms. Thanks for your answers and help here. I thank God I found this forum.

Look at it this way Efia. There is no way in  that a weak person could ever go through this process. That being said, you'll do just fine. Let other stuff just roll off of your back. (L)

Its true chispas. I know God will not give me more than I can handle. Pero, im getting to that point soon. But I do find when I just focus on other things it helps. a little

I am positive. I guess its just this whole week has been very bad. It was leading up to today which is the anniversary of my brothers murder. My whole family was on the edge of tears all week. Last night was very emotional because I kept looking at the clock because i remember the last time I spoke with him and saw him leave. 2 am was the worst because the coroner said that is when he died. Its so weird. It was like yesterday and I kept wishing i had a time machine to go back and lock him in the house. anyways.......time to focus on work tomorrow. Thanks for all the encouragement :)

I sympathize with you. I can't help but to believe that your brother (his spirit) is fully aware of all of the love that his family has for him. You are worrying yourself needlessly, everything is going to be just fine. God has brought you through the physical separation from your brother to the physical union of you and your husband.

God is in control. I don't mean to preach to you, but baby girl; you need to get a hold of your worries and tell them according to "psalms 27:1" The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? and then follow that up with "2 Timothy 1:7" For God did not give us (me) a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. And tell the devil to get off of your shoulder and quit whispering his lies in your ear! A verse in one of my favorite gospel songs is this "Even though the rain falls, I can still make this call, let there be peace!

Now I can say, go away! I command you to move today, it's because of faith, I have a brand new day!

The sun will shine and I will be okay, thats what I told the storm.

So continue to walk in faith and while you are trying to figure it out, God has already worked it out!

I pray things will get better Efia. I wanted to suggest if you cannot pay for your ticket until March 1st, get all 4 pages ready to send in for your visa and the payment. The day you pay for the ticket, send in the paperwork for your visa and file to get it back the fast way. I know it's a little more money, but I feel thats your best option. I hope it all works out for you because the date is coming fast. All the best.

Hey Efia. This has nothing to do with your visa question, but you've noticed I have trouble staying on topic. So forgive me in advance. I finished my book on the amish in Illinois tonight and picked up a book that I've never finished by Max Lucado called Everyday Deserves a Chance. The chapter I read really was pointed right at me, but I decided to share it with you too. (aren't I generous) Basically, he says in the book that God provides for us day by day. He doesn't provide for two weeks at a time, but rather day by day, exactly what we need. So we should learn to focus on each day completely and not start worrying about tomorrow, because it'll just sap the strength out of today's blessings. He quoted Montaigne, who said "My life has been full of terrible misfortunes, most of which never happened." Lucado said, "Worry scuttles our lives, hurts us, and most sadly dishonors God." God controls all our days, whether we start worrying about them ahead of time or not. Our steps are ordered and we need only trust in His grace upon our lives. Lucado advises that we should pray more, want less and live for today. I found that message touched my heart cause I just worry and worry and worry; until I make myself sick. I'm gonna try to pray more. When you're praying, you're not worrying and when you're worrying you're not praying. That Max Lucado is one smart cookie.

Thanks guys. Thanks for sharing that Zain. I am feeling a bit better today. By the way I called my travel agent. She is ghanaian herself and has friends and family in ghana and she gets me really great rates cause sometimes the rates are better through ghana and since she has connections there she will buy them through ghana. Anyways she created an itinerary for me and emailed it to me. It has my name and everything.

You have a lot going on at one time and I know its hard for you right now. The best thing I can offer you is my support and prayers. It will not be an easy road, but remember God is our comforter and he will supply your needs and see you through all things. Once again, things will get better. Soon you will be in a better place. Take time to recognize and enjoy the good things in your life, and you will see your blessings multiply and your heartache subside.

Good luck mami! I am praying for you (L)
