Hi guys, needed a little help. My travel agent wasnt in to answer this question. On the visa application for Ghana, do I put tourism as before or official since I am going for embassy. And can I list my husband as a contact or is that a red flag? Like im going to stay? :) I know its silly but i cant afford to have it be denied. Thanks

Put tourism. If you put business they may ask for business contacts etc. You can put your husband down as a contact. I put down my fiance and had no problems.

I don't know if you are applying for a single or a multiple entry visa, but I would suggest the multiple entry. They recently extended it to be valid for 5 years (I think it was 3 before) and it is only $30 more.

Wow, three years - mine was for one in September...

anyway, I've always put for vacation/holiday on my paperwork (both for the embassy and the entry documentation) I also always list my fiance's address as the "residence" in GH, regardless if we're staying at his home or a hotel. I've applied for the visa in Europe and the US and never had a problem (Consulate in Europe required an invitation letter, not so in the US) getting the visa.

Have fun!

 Zainab I try not to stress out but I cant help it. Everything is coming down to this day. I cant leave without him I havent seen him in over a year! I just have a lot on my shoulders even more than just this immigration stuff and I need some help and things would be much smoother with my partner shouldering some of it here with me. Im just tired of being the one in the family that everyone counts on and goes to, you know? Im ok with it because im the only one in my family who is sane but it can get overwhelming for me and I feel at my breaking point right now. I just try to leave it in God's hands but then I turn around and snatch it back up out of his palms. Thanks for your answers and help here. I thank God I found this forum.

Look at it this way Efia. There is no way in  that a weak person could ever go through this process. That being said, you'll do just fine. Let other stuff just roll off of your back. (L)

The longer it takes to introduce yourself the less you've actually accomplished

Oh sweetie! {hugs} I hear you totally. Thank God you are at the count down now. It'll be okay. Remember that stress can make you physically ill, so look for some kind of outlet before you make yourself sick. I'd recommend going to they gym, but since I personally hate the gym, I say have a cheesecake instead! (L)

Hey I have a dilemma and a question. I cant buy my ticket till march 1st. I know its cutting it short but I have no choice. But I need to apply for the visa now because it takes a while to be returned, BUT in order to apply for the visa I need to send a copy of the round trip ticket. What do I do? I hate having to borrow the money for the ticket and pay later but if I have to I have to.
