I've in bawling :crying::crying: my eyes out for the last hour or so. why because my daughter has thrown out my 1099 tax information and my USC CERTIFICATE.

I'm a little calm now but best believe I thought i was going to loose my mind. I don't know what to do I have a copy of my certificate can it be replaced.

I don't know what to do I really think I'm about to loose it. Last year she threw away my marriage, both my husband and my birth certificate call herself cleaning out my draw.

OMG.......I NEED TO GO OUTSIDE BEFORE I LOOSE MY MIND.....I'M GOING TO NEED A CIGARETTE I DON'T SMOKE IN THE HOUSE BUT I MIGHT HAVE TO LIGHT ONE UP RIGHT NOW.

DOES ANYONE HAS ANY ADVICE........... :help:

I have such a headache right now and I don't have any advils.

You're going to have to teach her a lesson, though I know she was only trying to be helpful. Mek she pay yuh back fi di money yuh haffi go spen', bet yuh she nuh go back inna yuh tings...

Here goes my venting.......

I applied to replace and outdated green card June 2001. I've been in the US since I was 7 yrs old. went to Jamaica July of 2001 met my husband in May 1, 2002 got married no replacement green card come fee went up they write me and said they need more money. 2003, 2004 nothing they want more money 2005 go to Jamaica to visit my husband coming back from Jamaica now I hear my name over load speaker every body looking @ me like I was caught smuggling drugs into the country. Go into office they questioning me where's my green card I said you tell me I've been waiting for a replacement since 2001 and every year I have to get my passport stamped. INS officer tells me that I have a green card and I need to travel w/it. I said I understand that; when was the new card issued...jerk tells me the same day I left the country how was I suppose to know that I got a new card in the mail if I wasn't of the country.

to make another long story short all the years waiting on my replacement green card Feb. 2004 I said that's enough I'm going to file for my citizenship hopefully by the time I get the citizenship I will have my green card. Did finger prints April 2004 me and my sister live in the same house she filed for her citizenship in January and me in Feb. My sister gets called in and sworn in Sept 04 while I on the other hand still waiting to rcv letter for interview date. Nov 2004 I get a letter that I missed my appointment for citizenship on sept. 17 2004 and I had 30 days to explain why I missed interview.

Wrote 2 letters sent one to New Hampshire and 1 to Boston both certified so I know they got them. Maybe appointment on info pass to go to the local INS office who made me fill out a form requesting that they schedule me and appointment. Every 3 months I was going back and forth to the locate office and every time I had to fill out the same form. They tell me that I will hear back within 3 months I don't hear back I make another appointment and go back into the Boston office.

The last time I went back to the local office dis excuse my language bloodclaat rassclaat women go tell mi fi go back home and save up mi money and file again. i stood inna di woman face and start fi bawl long eyyewata i couldn't believe that she said that to me.

Well i went home regroup contact a lawyer who wanted to charge me $3000 fi him fee just to put in my application again. hell to the no i aint giving no more money I called the 800# got a really nice man and within a months time I got my letter that's it's been over a year and that I needed to take new finger prints then got my letter w/my interview date. Got the date in May and had to wait until September to be sworn in. After dealing w/INS issues since 2001 I thought things would be working in my favor now. But I see it’s not.

OMG...........I really needed to vent out my INS nightmares

LAwd Dimps..u mas har up ?... mi tink it wasn't replacable ? u have ur US passport ? if so u no affi worry

mash her up.....rassclaat gyal ah bawl I had to walk away from her before I found myself behind bars.

MAWNIN Dimples,

So, sorry you're going through all this. I will pray for you. I had issues in the 90s with my greencard. When I came through Baltimore I was detained (3 hours), because they said the the greencard that (THE US) issued to me was not valid. They separted my brother and I, but they were not allowed to question him, so they let him go outside to meet my parents. They did not tell my parents anything that was going on. I told them to look at the stamps in my Jamaica passport and you will see that this is the first time that I'm being questioned about my travels. I had been going back and forth to Jamaica and elsewhere in the world with no problems. In short, it took too BClatt long for me to get my green card, so I applied for citizenship and you want to know what those DUMB'A$$ES did (still can't figure it out to this day)...I got my citizenship and was sworn in, signed my certificate and left the ceremony (went to red lobster and stuff my belly). I got my new greencard in the mail 1 year later. Unbelievable. When I came through Baltimore once again in 2002, after all the mess with September 11th and they scanned my US passport, I was told I had an active A number and was once again escorted to that damn room with all the glass windows. They can see out, but you can't see in. I asked them what is the PROBLEM. I told them FRANKLY, I'm sick of this. I am a U.S. citizen and I'm being DETAINED, because y'all can't update your databases, that is not my problem. Smartmouth officer replies, it can become MY PROBLEM. I said to him ARE YOU FINISHED NOW! I hope and PRAY that this will not be an issue with my petition. Keep in mind, this is something that happened in 1990.

They say the immigration process is a lot easier now, but I beg to DIFFER, maybe I'm wrong.

I'm not even going to try and pretend I understand the immigration process (law, rules, regulations, FEES). All I know is that people who try to do it the legal and honest way, at times get the runaround or SCREWED, as I did. I paid a fee to have my greencard renewed and a fee for my citizen...Mi still waiting fi mi refund for the greencard application (which I was told would be refunded)....So, baby girl, I share your pain.

********************************************************************************

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
