I think I might have the touch thing misunderstood.

I thought that a touch was when u sign in, and the date on last updated was changed.....

well if thats correct, everytime I have logged on for the last three days the date has changed. Is this normal? What the hell is going on with all the touching?

Being touched is good. Some get touched and get nothing. Some get touched and get a lot. Some do not get touched and they still get good news. So it all depends I think. Me? I love being touched!!! LOL

I have been touched for the last two days. Last night when I called them/USCIS to find out how to remove my lawyer from my case, she/customer service rep stated that my case "could not" be worked on for another 49 days. Like it was the law or something. hhmmmm I am in the right time frame for approval, but your case is new considering they just received the petition. Seems like a lot of touching going on at the USCIS.

When I seen my case was touched on Wednesday, I had to blink because my case had not been touched since it was received. I hope you have good news.

Yeah - I've noticed from various timelines I have seen that a lot of touches early on post NOA1 tends to not result in anything spectacular... I think I saw someone with an RFE early on due to some kind of spelling mistake on a form or something but don't quote me on that!

I doubt it is anything to worry about - like someone said - they prolly can't figure out where they want to put your package right now!!!

I was touched again today!

I just dont get it. ..this is everyday for the last three days. SOmething has to be happening.

If we could only be so lucky in real life. Actually there seems to be a lot of touching going on right now with new filiers. Mox has suggested that it is merely having the file moved from the mail room to the file room, which I think is probably the case. It is fun to see some activity so early though, although I'd probably be worried that they were using mine as a training example of a problem petition....lol. Good Luck.

I logged in about ten times today and my date has not changed. I was so excited on On Thursday for nothing. I heard peoples cases were being touched that were finished and are working on the adjustment of status. So just a lot of touching going on.

I've only been touched once and that was way back on 15th November.

I'm starting to worry something is up with ours. It's a pain in the butt.

The only reason i've not been pulling my hair out is the fact that i've just spent two fantastic weeks with my baby.

The timelines are confusing, everything's confusing.

USCIS says like July yet i've seen October filers approved.

My file was only touched once about a week after it was recieved then nothing for 4 months until it was approved. Not sure why some get touched more than others. Mabey some are a little more difficult than others. Anyways good luck hope it is a good touch!
