Well, thanks a lot people. Now, in a manner of 4 days we've gone from never seeing this show and having no clue what its about to my wife being obsessed, renting previous seasons on DVD, and me still having no clue what its about because I only listen while she watches and I am typing a way at the computer.

The last thing I saw, some young Australian or British couple just took a pregnancy test, the man at first says he wants to have it with her, then he's talking about giving the child up to a specific couple and she has to board that specific plane and she blames him for making sure the plane comes down. Or something like that.

I knew Aaron relationship to Jack in the episode before that, when Claire follows the guy in the forest I recognized who he was and she called him Dad. I was like shoot!

It's so twisted the number of connections between all the passengers of the planes.

I'm worried they're going to kill Jen. Sun said to her father that two people are to be blamed for his death and that he is one of them.

I can't believe we have to wait two weeks to see the season finale now though!

I wonder given that they are supposed to have 6 escape the island and since there are people who will stay behind if they will come back in future seasons. What do you think?

Or do you think they'll drag the rescue on for an other season?

lol.... ok guys you should have known that Jack and Clare were brother and sister a long time ago... remember Jack's dad and Claire met before the island back in Australia... can't remember the episode though....

yea in season 3 episode 12.. Clarie and her mom are in a car accident and somehow Christian, Jack and Claire's dad finds out about it and he talks with Claire...

Claire's Father

Episode 3x12, Par Avion - Flashback 4

In a small shop, Claire pierces a girls ear. The door opens and she says, "I'll be with you in a sec."

She asks for 10 dollars from the girl, then looks up to see that it's her father who had come in. She goes behind the counter. "What are you doing here?

"Buy you a cup of coffee?"

"I have nothing to say to you."

"Claire, I'm leaving tonight and I'll be out of your life forever. Just let me buy you one cup of coffee."

As they have coffee, Claire says, "So it's true?"

"Yes, it's true," Christian says.

"How'd you find out about the accident?" Claire says and he says that a doctor friend called him. "Why did she tell me you were dead?"

"I guess because I left her with so many wonderful memories," he says sarcastically. "Look, we had a fling. I was back in Los Angeles when she told me she was pregnant. When she told me she was going to have a baby, have you."

"You didn't want to see me?"

"No, no, I came out a bunch of times when you were little. I stayed over, gave you toys, I sang to you."

"Why'd you stop coming?"

"Because your aunt hates me and your mother didn't like the fact that I had another family."

"Why'd you come, then? I mean, you could have just paid the bills from the States."

"I came over because I wanted to help. Claire, your mother is alive, but she's not really living. Now may be the time to look at other ways to relieve her pain. Now, it is illegal to turn off her machines, but I know some ways to achieve the same effect without facing the legal consequences."

"Just shut up! You didn't come here to help me. You came here to try and fix a mistake that you made."

"No, honey, that's not it."

"You think that just paying her bills makes you noble or something? You come down here and you try to get me to kill her? Just go! Go back to your real family." She gets up and throws her cup in the trash then turns around. "You know, you might be my father, but I don't even know your name. And I want it to stay that way."

She walks off and he goes after her. "Do not keep your mother alive for the wrong reasons. There is hope and there is guilt, and believe me, I know the difference. Bye, kid. It's great seeing you again." He walks away.
