11 days and no NOA1 and check not cashed yet

I sent the K-1 application 11 days ago priority mail to the Nebraska Center. I have not received anything in the mail and the check hasn't been cashed yet. It seems that most people are getting their NAO1 notices much quicker than 11 days and that the checks get cashed within 11 days too.

Can I call to see if they received the package? It was my mistake that I didn't pay extra to have the package tracked to see when/if it had been received.

I am not a patient person! This is already killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It can take up to two weeks sometimes to receive your NOA1, I would wait a few more days before calling, i think you will probably get it any day now :D

1/13/06 TSC rec'd

1/23/06 NOA1 from CSC

1/27/06 - Check cleared

7/10/06 - NOA2

7/14/06- rec'd @ NVC

8/14/06- NVC sent petition to Consulate

8/17/06 - Korean Consulate rec'd Petition

8/23/06 - rec'd packet 3 from Consulate

8/25/06 - sent packet 3 back to Consulate

8/27/06 - got confirmation email from Consulate, they rec'd packet three

8/27/06 - requested interview date via Consulate internet site.

9/1/06 - Checked internet site for interveiw date, it was there

9/25/06 - Interview date - APPROVED

9/28/06 - Visa in Zaeems Hand - YEAHHHHH

1/6/07 - leaving for USA

1/20/07 - Wedding Date

1/20/07 - MARRIED!!!!!

2/10/07 - rec'd certified copy of marriage license

AOS

3/13/07 - AOS package rec'd at Chicago Lockbox

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

5/22/07 - rec'd Case Pending at CSC email

6/25/07 - EAD card production ordered

7/7/07 - EAD "touched"

7/7/07 - AOS "touched"

8-6-07 - Rec'd EAD Card in the Mail

5-20-08 - AOS INTERVIEW - APPROVED - PASSPORT STAMPED

7-2-10 - Received 10 year green card in mail

:yes: The entire visa process is about waiting...and waiting...and waiting...and waiting some more...waiting... :whistle:

Also, pop into the Middle East/North Africa sub forum and say hello. We have a bunch of people going through Morocco who have valuable experiences to share. Plus, we support each other through the difficulties that are arab men :luv:

Take a deep breath .. Our timeline is very close to yours .... We sent ours to the Vermont center though .. date sent was April 11th and we got the NA01 on the 24th ( yesturday ) the check has not been cashed yet .. i would bet you will get yours soon ! I wish you the best of luck .. it's HARD to wait .. but i have a feeling we have a lot more in store !

we sent ours exactly the same day to Vermont and nothing yet. Im assuming there is something of a delay because of the Easter weekend. If you add on a couple of extra days to cover the public holidays, an 8 day turn around would actually be tomorrow (26th)

Today i see my check was cashed and today is 15 days still no paper in the mall but i checked my case status and it appears i got my NOA1. So just wait it out a little more i know how you feel. Wont be on much today as i will be waiting for the mailman to come....jajajaj

I wouldn't fuss it's been 21 today and we have received no NOA1. Just give them a call in a few days to see what's up
