I don't think anyone here is questioning or ridiculing McCain's POW experiences - so I'm not sure why you brought this up.

Does it make him right to use a racist epithet 30+ years after the event? Doubtful.

Will it make a difference to his campaign at the end of the day? Probably not.

You know - I remember this one incident that happened when I was 16 and working a weekend job at a local supermarket.

A old couple were perusing the biscuit (cookie) aisle, and trying to decide what to buy. Finally the woman's husband picked up a box of Danish butter biscuits (the ones with the foreign name, but which are made and packaged in the UK). She made him put them back because they "couldn't buy anything German".

As I say - its irrelevant seeing as I'm not and haven't ridiculed McCain's POW experiences. Twist it however you want - that fact isn't going to change.

Sorry, I have a policy of not feeding the trolls....

But you do seem to have a policy of filling your mouth with large quantities of equine waste.
