almost 1 year since interview..still pending

hi friends

its my first time to write in this forum though i have been visiting this site for a long time....i was interviewed at us embassy islamabad on 6th of february 2007 for k3 visa and was told that they wanted adminstrative processing of about 45 days b4 they issue the visa but its now almost an year but they did not issue the visa..each time i email them and i get the same words pending for admin processing....my last email was november 2007 but so for they did not reply so for.....i just the friends here to please share their information of cases here...more if any body knows of DOS email for the enquiry of pending cases please me know that too....any help would be greately appreciated...as me and my wife r really much confused and depressed whatever is going with us n this visa case. .................

i emailed at Pakivquery@state.gov as my case has taken more than 10 months since my interview at us embassy islamabad for k3 but so for they did not reply .

Sorry about your Ap, I am in the same shoes as you are, well I had my interview on oct 9th of 07 so your processing time is definetely been longer. After hearing from you for your Ap time, now I am worried about mine . I don't know why they take so long. Its very frustrating as we are not able to see our loved ones for a long time.

I can't believe your's has been a year. That is just insane man. Why don't you tell your fiance/wife to write letters to her/his congressman and senators so they can push your case with the F.B.I.

U.S embassy in Islo is probably the slowest one in the world. They never pick up the phone and they reply to your email after weeks. Keep on sending them emails but all they will tell you is that your case is still under Admin processing. They don't give much details. Btw 45 business days is just minimum time and there is no maximum time.

Just pray that we all get through this miserable process. Amen.

Well I had some smart ### get on to me for posting this ... saying everyone already knew- but I didnt when I found out so- The new policy written in on Feb 4th is here- you no longer have to wait - SOrry if this is something you have already heard. Just trying to be helpful.

i was interviewed on march 28 2007 , and it is feb 17 2008 guess what one year is getting completed , badluck to isb applicants
