Here I go again! but please bear with me guys...got more questions!

On part 7 of I-131 it says....

( On a separate sheet of paper, please explain how u qualify for an advance parole...blah blah).....should I do this?

1. how many trips do u intend to use this document? would it matter if I check "more than 1 trip"?

Should I fill up #'s 2 and 3 of part 7?

Part 4: Purpose of travel and list of countries u intend to visit? Should I fill these boxes?

Thanks again for your help!

We're confused too when we filled-out the I-131 form. We didn't actually provide a separate sheet of paper and explain. Meaning we didn't do that, we don't know if it will create a problem or what.

Think doesn't matter at the moment, they will inform us in any case or send us RFE.

I don't think if it matter if you check "more than 1 trip".

Fill-up #2 IF the person intended to receive an AP is outside the United States. And #3 IF the travel document will be delivered to an overseas office, where should the notice to pick up the document be sent?

SEE Part 3: If your applying for an AP document, SKIP to Part 7. This is said on the form.

Better go to "Example Forms" on the site and click I-131 form. A sample form is filled-out, you can browse and get an info :)

Since the I-131 asks you to attach a separate sheet of paper and explain why you wish to receive AP, yes, go ahead and do it. Just put something down like family reasons for example (an upcoming wedding, birthdays, something like that).

The AP will be valid for one year, so you can use it several times during this time until you receive the Greencard. If you wish, mark several trips and add another reason to the separate sheet of paper. Could also be a simple vaccation purpose. You don't have to put nothing fancy down.

No, you don't need to fill out number 2 and 3 of part 7. You are in the US and shouldn't leave the States without having the actual AP document in hand. If they deny it and you are in another country already you can't come back unless you apply for a spousal visa.

Other than that: Please read the form and instructions and also the answers you received in your previous post. It says in part 3 to skip to part 7 if you are applying for an AP document. So you don't have to fill in parts 4-6.

This form is also used for a re-entry permit. That is for people who have the Greencard already and wish to stay abroad for up to 2 years (to complete college, for example). They have to provide more information, that's why there are more options on the form.
