Hello Jim, I am so sorry to here the bad news about Rachel. I think it would be a great idea for you to go visit your asawa now.

Pushbrk or Yu&Dan can probably answer your question about how the delay will effect your approved visa application.

I am sorry to hear about the delay. But a delay is just what it is. My fiancée was exposed to TB by her mom. She underwent to 6 month treatment a few yrs. Back our prayers are with you.

Dec 9 2007 Arrived in Manila
Dec 15 2007 Returned home, very sad day
Dec 21 2007 Sent Form I-129F to CSC
Dec 24 2007 Packet received at CSC
Dec 31 2007 NOA 1 received
Jan 02 2008 Check cashed
May 05 2008 NOA2
May 12 2008 Received letter from NVC MNL2008xxxxxx
May 19 2008 Paid Delbros fee at Metrobank
May 20 2008 First day of medical

Thanks dbears for the links and thanks to everyone else for your concerns.

Apparently SLEC will notify USEM to get the extention of our visa application due to this medical issue, but any other advice is greatly appreciated. As we all know, the system is full of mis-information. I will make sure Rachel checks on this everyday on her visits to SLEC for her treatments.

I am not sure if or when I can get back to Phils. due to this unexpected set back, and being able to take the time off work, but will work on that. In the mean time, we will just be patient once again. A 6 month delay is worth a lifetime of happiness.

HI Jim, Rachel is my friend and I know that you are such a lucky man to have her as a wife. I've learned about this from her and I really feel bad but you know what? Do not lose hope, it's not denial it's only delay of the process. When everything is clear ST. Lukes will be the one to reschedule her interview in the USEM. Soon, you will be together again I am positive for that.
