Wooohooo!!! Just called NVC, our case has finally been forwarded to Moscow today. Getting closer and closer! :dance::dance::dance:

did NVC gave you a new case number? whats the difference fromthe CSC case number?

After NOA2 the NVC handles everything else. The NVC case number usually starts with the consulate, you're in philippines so it will start with MNL and then there is the year then julian date plus 500 (if NVC received yours on Feb 5 lets say it would be 536) and then the number you were assigned to the consulate that date. So lets assume you were the first one from Philippines that got assigned to Manila on February 5th your NVC case number would be MNL2008536001. This number will be used to track everything from now on. You will be able to check your medical and interview date online with this number too.

So, I called NVC this morning to see if the petition had left for Costa Rica (am in USA visiting right now....) and they tell me it was mailed out on the 4th.

I am feeling a bit odd like others now, at the redunkulous speed things seem to have picked up at !

(sorry Mox! :angry: )

I am now emailing back and forth with the Embassy staff in San Jose (yay for having a friend who recently completed the K3 process at the same embassy- I now have all his direct contacts!!) so I can hopefully land at my place in CR the same day as my packet! Phew!! Hard work!!

May 5, 2008 Receipt date for I-485, I-765 & I-131

May 9, 2008 NOA's & Biometrics Appointment letter received

Mar 14, 2008 Interview - receive 221(g) for missing Single certificate for Costa Rica

Mar 26, 2008 Pick up completed Single Cert from the Registro Civil & deliver to Embassy

Apr 2, 2008 Deliver Australian Single status cert to Embassy

Apr 8, 2008 Approved!! Visa in hand same day :)

08/20/07-----Mailed I-129F to CSC

08/21/07-----Recieved at CSC

09/26/07-----NOA1

02/06/08-----Touched (RFE Trick) and approved the same day.

02/07/08-----NOA2 VIA Cris E-mail

02/11/08-----NOA2 Hard Copy Recieved

02/25/08-----Received at NVC

02/27/08-----Left NVC

03/03/08-----Received at Embassy

04/03/08-----Interview! APPROVED!!! YEA YEA YEAH

04/08/08-----VISA In Hand!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!

04/18/08-----She's finally coming home POA IAD!!!

Please let us know how you get on. We were approved 31st Jan and NVC still haven't received our case.

I just called NVC and got through. Our case hasn't got there yet. I think Igor's was on the top of the crate. Hopefully, as fast as they handed out approals last week, the crate will fill fast.

I'm still very grateful to have our approval and still wish best of luck to all those still waiting.

I think I waited more time for my Oath Ceremony schedule rather than interview process and after 13 minutes the lady gave my sched WOW CAN'T BELIEVE ......yayyyyyyy

Anyone tried the DHL tracking trick as explained in this thread? Be interesting to know whether the trick still works - those of you who know the packets are on their way :whistle:

It does still work. I'm tracking my packet. It should arrive at the Moscow Embassy on Feb 13th. Overnight our time.

Excellent thanks! I personally can't get www.dhl.com up on either mozilla or IE because javascript is disabled (even though javascript is not disabled in either case). Not that I have anything to check yet, but chooknow it's worth finding out how it works before you need it.

It has seemed very quiet since Aly went quiet. Wonder when she'll update us. Are you feeling better now?
