I have a question regarding the Affidavit supporting evidence....

For the Bank Statement, Do I have to get a signed statement from the bank?

Or just a statement that is unsigned detailing date account open, amount deposit for the past year, and current balance is good enough?

Thank you in advance.

Now that's weird. How did she know you called early? The first time I called they just asked for my case number. I gave her my USCIS receipt number and she said "nope, haven't received it yet." I thanked her, and that was it.

The first time I called, our case wasn't there yet and when they told me, I said, "Thank you." But the lady asked me a few questions about my case and took the time to explain how things worked. She could of eaily hung up and moved on, but instead took the time to talk like a human being.

If you are over the poverty line, then you don't need it signed. You might want to check the local embassy as it seems that everyone is different for info they need. I am over the line, but sent my last 3 months bank statements just in case, cuz things always seem to change.

Forgive me, maybe i missed it in another thread, but how did you get an expedited moscow interview?

My wife and I filed our '30 and '29f in early august (at NSC but forwarded to CSC), but are still waiting for our NOA2.

My wife is from Ekaterinberg Russia and we would like to naturally have the interview as soon as possible.

Also, any tips on getting the medical and police records in order there and when is too early to get them?

My appologies in advance if this is posted elsewhere. Thanks, T.

You can't get an expedited interview unless you are eligible for an expedite. If you're military and have orders to be deployed, or if there are emergency circumstances, then you might be eligible. Otherwise...stand in line. :)

She asked my case number. Then she repeated it and I told her it was correct. Then she asked me if I got a notice in the mail and I said yes. She asked me what the notice date was and I told her February 4th. Then she got an attitude and said "Sir you are calling way to soon, you need to call us 90 days from the notice date." So I said ok and hung up. That was the first and last time I had a rude person though at NVC.

Hello all! I'm an October filer who just got NOA2 - I figured you wouldn't mind me crashing your thread! I'm the 'alien fiancee', so I'm not sure I can call NVC myself. I will see if my SO will do it, but he is not nearly as obsessed with the minutea of this visa process as I am! I was wondering if NVC sends a letter notifying you that they have forwarded the petition to the embassy?

Thanks everyone!

NVC will ask for the case number, foreign fiance/e's name & DOB. So you can call. Sometimes NVC will receive the petition in a few days but mine took about 3 weeks so it all depends.

India, gun buyback and steamroll.
