It seems as there are very few Bridgetown filers here, and so information is limited. I have seen a few details on packet 3 etc on the board, but I am soo very anxious for more.

My biggest concern is the mail in the EC. Roughly how long does it take for the packet 3 to arrive to ur fiance(e)s and back to the embassy? What about to schedule an interview? Is it a good idea for me to email them, or send the packet 3 info back before even receiving the packet from them?

All help is appreciated. Im getting antsy.

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

Thanks LG. I checked that out, and I am even more antsy now. My petition is en-route to Bridgetown, so the journey is just beginning. :)

Medical at the Diagnostic Clinic on Beckles Road. (1 to 2 hrs)

Be at the facility around 8am. The whole thing takes about 2 hours, give and take depending on the amount of people coming for Embassy medicals. You are given a blood test, urine test, chest X-ray, eye test, necessary vaccines, and an overall physical.

You are told to return to the clinic for the results the next business day.

Embassy Visit (roughly 3 hours)

Get there around 7am. No need to be too early, as they call Immigrant Visa cases (7:30 appts) before the regular visas. There shouldn’t be too many IV applicants, roughly around 5.

You enter and take a seat. All applicants are called to present their application letters at one of the windows, then return to your seat.

They will then call you by name. When youre called, you will be asked for your passport, birth certificate, I134 and backup, etc. You will be sent to the cashier to pay. You must return to the window with your receipt from the cashier. All your paperwork is placed together with your petition and given to the consular officer. You return to your seat.

You are then called to a window by the consular officer. They take your electronic fingerprint, and ask you a few questions. I noticed the level of questioning varied depending on the complexity of the case. You are given the pink approval slip (hopefully) and sent to the dhl counter to arrange for delivery of your visa. If your case requires anything more, you may be asked to send it with your passport for the issuing of the visa.

• They did not look at my evidence.

• Make sure both parents names are on Birth Certificates

• If you ever had a previous passport, make sure you have that with you.

Oh, I forgot one more tip. If you take copies of your docs (birth certificate etc) along with the originals, they will return the originals to you after looking at them.

8/23/08 - AP arrived in the Mail and Biometrics Apt for EAD

8/25/08 - Greencard card Production Ordered

8/29/08 - Approval Notice Sent as Per CRIS Email?????

8/29/08 - Greencard Mailed
