Accent, dress sense, choice of words, fake materialistic wannabe look, overbearing attitude, almost shouting when speaking etc. Granted this applies mostly to your LAites..

You must have been to a different LA than the one I lived in.

I and the rest of the world must have a different LA. Home many people in Europe, or abroad in general, have you ever head say "wow LA was awesome. I loved the people..". I sure as heck have not.

Your blanket statements are truly laughable.

Nothing "blanket" about them. I have never ever met anyone from abroad who liked the people in LA. Clearly what is the norm for people from LA is not the case abroad.

For example, in my experience the average Joe from London is the complete opposite to the average Joe from "like" LA.. One has class the other does not. One is an idiot the other is not.

yeah, and you have met every single person in LA to be able to make that statement??

Just to be clear now - all Angelenos are idiots & all Londoners are classy?

Tell me, besides your delightful experiences at LAX, how much time have you spent in LA?

 How can you speak for "the rest of the world"?

Lets make a bet. How about we go onto other international forums and ask what people think of LAites. We will ask what people think of LA from anyone who has traveled around to a few states.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

yeah, I am sure people have met some people from LA that they didn't like but you then can't use that and say that everyone from LA is that way.... there are millions of people who live in the LA area... I am sure there are a few nice ones in the bunch :P

How about you come to your senses and stop making silly statements that you can't justify.

So what would you call justification? Do I need to find a thesis on it. Get over it. If LA was the center of the world everyone would want to live there but they do not. lol

Yes how dare somebody not like LA. Don't shoot the messenger here. As I clearly said before I have never ever 'met' anyone from abroad who loved LA or its residents.

I like the idea that we can find the real truth about a place and its people by tabulating the opinions of foreigners who may have been there once or have seen the place in movies.

I never denied that but I strongly believe people in LA have the worst attitude when compared to any other city I have been too.
