I'm from Cebu and my interview will be on March 13.I just want to know guys the most preferable time in attending this seminar. Will it be before or after having the visa in hand?

if ur closer to cfo cebu office, u can have it there when u have ur visa. u may also want to take the seminar after ur medical or interview while ur still in manila as what is commonly done by other applicants.

best would be after you get the visa. Because even if you go before u have the visa, they will ask you to return once you have the visa so they can put the sticker in there. I attended the CFO seminar when I had my passport changed into my married name. They gave me a lifetime certificate and told me to come back once i have a visa so they can put the sticker :)

Hello Frank-lyn… I’m also from Cebu with interview date on Feb.8. I’m done with my CFO seminar already. I had it at St. Mary’s, infront of Boy’s High (Mango Avenue). I prefer to have the seminar early so I’ll just go directly to CFO office to have the stamp. If you live within Cebu City, you can have the seminar early. There’s no hassle at St. Mary’s. They’ll give you the certificate after the seminar and you’ll bring it at CFO office for the stamp once you’ll have your visa. The CFO office is near DFA (also near Sto. Niño church).

Hello Sha...Thanks for the info.Glad that you had your CFO seminar already and i wish you luck on your interview this Feb. 8.

I'm planning to attend the Seminar probably next week and by March 3, i will be flying to Manila already for my medical and interview and just wait there till the visa is released so if hopefully the visa will be released there in manila not before March 22, then i won't be able to come back to Cebu.So my question is, do you have any idea if i can have the stamping there in Manila even if i'll attend the seminar here in cebu?

Looking forward to your answers. Thanks a lot guys for the responses and Good Luck to all of us!

God Bless....

It's really all up to you and what's convernient for you. Since you will be staying in Manila for the medical until you got the visa, why not attend the CFO seminar (at PRISM) while there even though you don't have the visa yet? And then once you've received the visa, go to CFO main for the sticker/stamp. OR if you are not in a hurry, attend the seminar/counseling in the morning and then from there, go straight to CFO main for the sticker.

Good luck, girl!

Yes, you can have your passport stamp in Manila as long as you'll have the certificate with you. The certificate will be issued right after the seminar. Just bring it when you'll fly to Manila.

And yeah, good luck to us. As in gosh, I can't explain my excitement right now... the kind of feeling that is mix with fear and all... As in ohh gosh...:-):-)

Good luck to both of you!
