I received and sent DS-2032 on Nov. 2007 but I haven't IV Bill yet. So, I sent a letter to NVC to send it me.

To save time, I would like to prepare something for IV bill and DS-230.

1. how much the fee for IV bill? and, payable to Whom?(I would like to prepare money order beforehand)

2. what is required documentation for DS-230? I downloaded DS-230 in USCIS site and fill it in. What else document I should prepare?

Thank you in advance.

I cant answer the first question. Maybe someone else can. But click on the link below and find Seoul, Korea from the drop down menu. It will take you to page where you can find out what documents may be needed. Also, marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc. I believe all documents need to be the original or a certified true copy of the original.

The Fee is $400 in the form of money order from a U.S. bank made payable to Department of State.

The beneficiary needs to fill out the DS-230 oart 1 and 2 and sign part 1 only. The form can be downloaded at www.uscis.gov and can be filled out on the computer and printed or just printed and filled out in pen.

NVC will generate and then send out IV Fee Bill after it takes care of DS 3032. The IV Fee is $400.00 which can be paid with a money order or cashier check and is payable to Department of State. DS 230 part I should be signed by the visa applicant but part I must not be signed now (he/she will be asked to sign during the interview).

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

You meant part 2 should not be signed until the interview takes place- correct?
