Receipt Number not showing up

We tried to registered on USCIS our Receipt Number we just received today however it didn't show up. Is there anyone who knows what might be the reason or the problem is?

Very often it takes days or weeks for them to update the website and acknowledge the receipt number. All you can do is keep checking every day. Good luck!

Yep - can take a little while. rest assured they've sent you NOA's and they know your address

Frankly - my numbers are in there, but nvr get updated so, it's just something to look at. Some folks see no online updates and then receive a notice about EAd or the Green card. I don't think USCIS is the best at being prompt

The system probably ain't updated yet. Just check back in in a couple of days.

All you can do is keep checking every day. Good luck!

I wouldn't recommend checking everyday, otherwise you are going to develop a bad case of OCD! Our case numbers didnt appear online shortly before AOS interview. But each case is different, so hopefully yours will be appearing sooner.

Be patient.

I don't want to discourage you but, I filed I-130 and I-485 in July and got my NOA1 in August. The receipt numbers have never been in the system and I was told that sometimes this happens. Because it's a valid receipt number - when I call the 1800 the elevate my call to an "officer" and he/she is always able to pull up my case. It just never got onto the web system for some reason.

I wouldn't worry too much. We were approved yesterday for our AOS interview, and our case status still says our case is pending at MSC. No updates since our biometrics.

I agree USCIS systems are delayed. Mine comes up but its never updated yet I get notices in the mail. Like someone stated above its just for seeing. You got the NOAs in your hand your good to go

Usually you have to wait until after your biometrics are done and then the AOS and EAD will show up about a week later. The AP will not. Good luck.

Gee! Thanks all you guys Think we feel a lot better now. Kinda fricki'n not seeing your status online. Yeah, we did get our NOA's.. so nothing to worry.

Just need to wait and be patient We almost have the OCD
