It puts a human face on something others would rather not think about. The guy sounds like he has some real regrets. Like it or not abortions prevents a human from being born that would have otherwise lived.

I think that each person can make their own choices. I don't think it's my right or anyone else's to decide what is best for someone else. I also think that people do think about it like that before the fact and can do it without regret.
